Can anybody use these shears or do I have to be camo’ed out in a deer stand cutting twigs for them to be effective?

Anyone can use these shears!!! I have to be at work by 5am and this one morning I was running a little late, it was about 29 degrees outside but knew it was going to be a hot day later around 110 degrees so I put on my tank top, shorts and some flip flops jumped on my Hog and took off in a hurry finely got to the freeway doing 70MPH and realized I forgot to trim my beard. (HOLLY CRAP!) no worries took out my shears and using my one rearview mirror was able to trim my burly beard in no time. Best thing about it was no hairs left in the sink.

Is there a way to adjust the spring mechanism mine quit opening?

Not that I know of. The spring came out of the oldest pair I have, but I still use them.
