This is a basic product, when i need to clean the floor and i am worried that my dog can lick the floor soap, i put my dog on his cage but sometimes my dog pee so i need something so that the dog don't get dirty that is why i bought this, i put this inside the cage and if my dog pee when i put her inside the cage, the urine goes to the bottom of the product and that helps in keeping my dog dry if anybody have the same problem this maybe can help, the product is small so this will be useful only for small dogs, God blesss everyone !

the grass doesn't even fit the area its suppose to go on, its way too small...and i wasn't about to try and glue it down or mess with it, i figured there would be some sort of way to hold the grass in place...but there not, just sort of sits there on top...sending back. don't waste your money. i know its one of the cheapest options and that's why i personally bought it, but you'll just waste your time with this one. do spend a bit more and get a decent product, the edges are fringing, the last thing you want is your pup eating the frayed grass and getting sick from it. not safe, not ok, not worth any amount of $.

I purchased this because I live in an apartment and want to have somewhere for my puppy to go during inclement weather and while I’m at work. My puppy is a 4 month-old 5lb mini Schnauzer. I walk/run her 1-2 times a day, never less than 20 minutes each, and have started taking her outside to go potty after meals when I’m home. Based on other reviews saying the fake grass that came with this did not fit exactly on the filtering tray, I purchased the wee wee replacement grass patch to place on the tray. After I got my puppy to stop trying to chew and scratch the fake grass (oh, the patience one learns!), I realized the patch did not filter the urine down into the tray at all. I only noticed because my puppy’s paws ended up disgustingly wet and she hated being on it (when I would place her on it, she would immediately lift up some paws, move as little as possible, and her demeanor seemed uncomfortable). I then tried the artificial grass that came with the product but, confirming other reviews, it was not a good fit for the tray and her paws would still end up wet. I ended up removing that too and stayed with just the filtering tray. She doesn’t mind the holes, and I’ve successfully gotten her to pee on it and is now trained in that. However, while she has pooped on the tray, she in general does not like pooping on it because it’s too small even for her to comfortably circle and sniff (and when she does go on it, she almost always stands on a corner and the poop falls outside the tray). The urine usually filters down into the grooves of the bottom tray, keeping her paws almost completely dry. I immediately pick up her poop the moment I see it. My apartment is small, and I’ve not noticed a bad urine smell unless I am near the tray in a low position. When it comes to cleaning the tray, I use gloves and a brush to clean everything including the handles locking the filter mesh into place and the bits of poop stuck between the holes of the mesh. I do this mostly once a week, sometimes 2x. This process is not as practical/easy as I would prefer and I have to be careful when picking the dirty tray up so the pee won’t spill out. However, I have not yet seen another potty system that works for me (I refuse to use training pads because I find them disgusting and my puppy loves chewing paper). In conclusion, it works well enough but I still wish there were something slightly bigger, portable, and easier to clean.

I had a litter of Dachsunds born and began using these when they were 4 weeks old. They trained nicely to this product. There were 5 in the litter and I sent one puppy trainer out with each puppy I sold. (So before the puppies left, I had 5 of them in various spots in my kitchen and dining room where they stayed. We put the puppy potty in the middle of an underpad so that misses were on the under pad. The puppies will get their front feet onto the potty thinking they are good - this is normal for young puppies to not realize their back ends need to be on the papers or on the potty. The units cleaned up nicely and the wet carpets were allowed to dry on the unit - being wet made them heavier to stay in place. The new owners reported their puppies continued to use the potty. I highly recommend this for breeders as it made cleaning up much easier than only using underpads, and my new owners (one of which was a breeder herself) were very happy.

I ordered this thinking the measurements where for the area of grass and that the grass would be at minimum held in place by some kind of bracket or slide and instead I got a cheap tray and grid that bends with a 5 pound dog on it. THe grass is a joke, it is a piece of the putt putt grass stuff that has jagged edges and is shredding. Upon requesting a return for the size and quality of this product had to pay out of pocket for postage on top of my existing disappointment. The product description is a complete lie, do not order this and I would think twice before ordering from this seller again.

The photos may seem to show what looks like artificial turf but that little pad is an odd and extremely lightweight and flimsy pad. The green bits are more like the fake grass you find in easter candy baskets shredded very finely and then applied to a surface like flocking. I think i may go to the hardware store and just purchase some astroturfing. This obviates the point of buying this item. This product is a pretty low quality waste of money. It’s designed to look ok in the photos but it’s a disappointment when you finally see the actual product.

Puppy seem to like it. Potty on it is another story close though.

Very cheap quality. Grass was fraying all over my house. My puppy refused to use it and he was artificial turf trained when we bought him.

We switched to disposable pee pads, our puppy like those better.

Small, flimsy and broke before even really being used.
