Looks like it came stock with the car. The open center was odd and didn't look good. This flows with the car and makes it look cleaner since you can't just see all the stuff in the little open cubby. I also like it cause it supports the armrest console. I was always thoughtful about trying not to put too much weight on the center console, or even a passenger accidentally leaning to heavy on it. In my opinion this is a MUST HAVE for a BMW X1It also has an opening for the USB port in the cubby.If you're reading this and have an X1 ......Put this in your cart n check out. Gotta get it.It doesn't add much storage space like I thought it would but I'm still really happy to have it. (I don't have the odd open storage cubby & I don't have to worry about the armrest console breaking) 💯

I wish I knew. Amazon keeps saying item is delivered days before its actually delivered. Extremely frustrating 😑 I'm sure product will be great though 🙂

Decent quality solution to a glaring flaw.

I like this because it provides a more usable storage area for my armrest. I have an X5 as well which has a good sized closed storage area and this makes my little car feel similar. It is very sturdy and allows you to hold more stuff without it falling out. It looks like it came with the vehicle. I would recommend.
