Excellent product. Very easy to join broken car wires. The solder and tube melts quickly using a heat gun and provides a secure join. Very quick to make a join. It would be better if there were more sizes of joint for thin wire.The cables I was fixing were in between 2 sizes of joint, but the larger joint melted enough to provide a secure fix.

Seems to be ok,but doesn't look like you would have soldered it. I've tried to heat it from 250 gradually increasing to 450 and the center still didn't melt like iron soldering but it most probably it's not meant to. I've noticed that it shrinks and hold the wires together, strong enough for the 0.25 wire i was using plus the glue on the ends helps to keep all together.

These are amazing in theory but in practice they are not the best the smaller the wire the better they work on larger wires the plastic heat shrink becomes damaged by time the solder is able to flow on the wires

Wie der Titel der Rezension schon sagt: „Besser haben, als brauchen!“ Hatte letztens ein paar Dinge zu reparieren und musste feststellen, dass ich zwar alles mögliche habe, aber als Alternative zu den WAGO-Klemmen oder Löten plus Schrumpfschlauch nichts vorzuweisen. Da ich gerne vorbereitet bin (wie der Herr, so‘s Gescherr), wurden diese Lötverbinder besorgt. Funktionieren gut, jedoch daran denken: Heißluftpistole ist ein Muss!
