Super good quality for the price nice and weighty thick pan performed really nicely good size to cook pretty much anything

Non stick but I added a bit more seasoning to make sure. Easy to clean with warm water. Only issue I have is the chemical smell that comes off the pan after the first few uses, it must be the pre seasoning they use. Also this company is no more, when I tried activating the guarantee it wasn’t possible because the website is down.

The pan is of excellent quality and made very well which I can highly recommend. It has a good weight to it, so you know it’s not been made on the cheap. I got mine primarily to cook home made pizzas in and it works brilliantly for this. Because it is a decent weight & thickness, it retains the heat so well that I can get airy puffed pizza bases with my fresh homemade dough. It has also produced an excellent bacon, eggs, beans & fried onion brunch a couple of times, again to perfection.It is well seasoned out of the box and I’ve not had anything stick. After each use I rinse clean in hot water, using a nylon dish brush, dry immediately with a tea towel and then I use a very small amount of vegetable/rapeseed oil to wipe all over the cooking surface and up the sides all round. Oiling is an important step to maintain the non-stick properties and avoid your cast iron from rusting. With each application of oil you improve the pans seasoning and increase its non-stick properties - the longer you use it the better it gets.

The pan is really flat, unlike my previous cast iron, the oil spreads evenly and does not pool. The surface is also very flat and gives a great crispiness on the outside of my ribeye. The upkeep is easier than some cast iron skillets given the way it was preseasoned.We love steak, and we love this pan. All we use it for is steak and i would not use anything else.

As a pan for life you can't really go wrong.Once fully seasoned this will be pretty much my everyday frying pan.Although it isn't as thick as some cast iron pans, The inside is machined smooth so this reduced the pan thickness & weight but heats fairly evenly.As a cast iron pan selling on Amazon the price varies considerably, Mine cost £29.99 on August 11th 2020 then dropped to £26.99 & now costs £36.99 on September 4th 2020.All of the above prices are good value compared with other sites.The pans are cast in China but quality is top notch & I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone.

Product it's great, just what I wanted for my partner birthday. It meant to be a gift but unfortunately the Amazon sticker was on top of the packaging and not in separate box as always. My partner received the delivery and saw it what it is straight away.I wanted to wrap it in my own paper and give him on the day but the surprise was spoiled so only 4 stars.

I bought both the 12" and the 10" so I am posting the same review for each one.I replaced a very heavy and rough-surfaced cast iron skillet with these. They are glass-top smooth / polished - which is ideal as that is the kind of cast iron I grew up with. Smooth and not roughThey come pre-seasoned, plus, they are not really heavy like so many in their size range are. I bought the larger one then because I liked it so much, I bought the smaller one.I do a lot of frying / sautéing and these are perfect.

I'm an experienced cook and I followed the instructions to the letter but this pan is in no way non-stick. In fact as per the picture I actually cannot clean it now after the last use. Everything sticks to it and it really is utter rubbish.Furthermore you'd think with the Australian Kitchen name and a picture of Australia it might not actually be made in China which in my youth were bywords for cheap rubbish! Trouble is this isn't cheap!I'm certainly going to ask for a refund.Don't buy it
