This iron arrived this morning. I had saved ironing in readiness. Absolutely lovely to use. My previous iron was a Tefal and bitterly disappointed so decided on Morphy Richards Amazons Choice. To be able to see the water level is a real bonus. The second bonus is the three metre cord. Two steam switches is also handy although I only used the lower one which was perfect. The booster steam will be ideal for heavy clothes such as jeans etc. It’s early days but so far so good. I loved using it. The price excellent and all in all worth every penny and can thoroughly recommend it. If you need a replacement iron go for it !!

Product Review: Morphy Richards Turbo Glide Steam Iron I recently bought the Morphy Richards Turbo Glide as a replacement for my iron that had lasted over 10 years, and I’m really pleased with it. I found it competitively priced, especially as it was on offer, which made it even better value. What I liked straight away is that it has like-for-like functions compared to my old iron, so the transition was very easy with no steep learning curve. It’s a nice weight – solid enough to feel sturdy but not too heavy – and the cord is a good length, which makes it much easier to move around when ironing. Overall, I’d recommend this iron to anyone looking to replace theirs. It’s a good quality option that’s simple to use, not too heavy, and has a good range of practical, easy-to-use functions.

Good iron, does the job. The cover over the water spout is not the best quality and easily come loose is you knock it.

Great product and super fast delivery. Got this to replace my Russell Hobbs iron that was less than a year old and just gave out on me. Love the large plate and steam function of this iron.

Very surprised at this iron...I do ALOT of ironing so I'm somewhat an ironing conisuer..lovely weight,great size of plate,perfect amount of steam so you don't need to keep using the boost all round a good keeper...oh and a great space to wing the cord when you're done.

The best ever iron I have bought.

After many years, I replaced my faithful Murphy Richards iron with a newer, shinier version of the turbo glide. It irons well and I’ve been pleased with it so far. The only issue for me is that the water chamber empties quickly and needs to be refilled with distilled or deionized water. Recommended.

Bought this after extensive research to find a replacement for our 10 year old iron which had failed. This iron has a long lead, is relatively light and has all of the features we wanted. An added bonus was Morphy Richards extend to 1 year guarantee to 3 years if you register the iron on their website. The packaging and a sticker on the iron clearly state that there may be water inside it from quality testing before dispatch. In practice it performed well, but takes a while to respond to temperature changes and the maximum heat was lower than our previous iron. Time will tell if it proves to be reliable, but the research showed it to have less than usual 1 star results.

It has leakage and not totally dripping proof.

Replacing an older (heavier) really good Morphy Richards iron I've had for over 10 years, this one's a little lighter (old one: 1.6kg!) but it has a larger tank (great) and glides quite a bit easier (even better). Verdict: Overall better than the old one! You could do a lot worse..

Iron plug is not compatible with Australian power points, are you able to provide one with Australian plugs?
