MOOG CC81065 Coil Spring Set for Chevrolet Cobalt

Good value from a well known brand. Bought them because the car broke a spring on the drivers side. I installed both even though only one on the car was broken. They are easy to install and give a good ride.

It was a quick install.

Been fine on the car since install with no sag but they arrived with chips/gouges in the powder coating. Not an issue now but seems like they'll rust sooner than otherwise.

These springs are much too big for my intended use. I was NOT using them as the intended automobile part and I had ordered them by the illustration on line. My mistake.

The product is a great value. Buy the name brand for cheaper than at an auto parts store. Pop them in and you are good to go. They made a big improvement on my car.Side note: Replace the struts as long as you have them out as well.

I bought these springs for my 2006 Chevy HHR, NOT FOR THE COBALT! I wanted to lower the rear of my car and I didn't want to spend a lot of money doing it. This worked like a charm!

Good product. No problems, easy install, they popped right into place on my 2009 G5, broken rear coils are very common on the delta platform cars (Chev Cobalt, Pontiac G5, Chev HHR, etc.) and my passenger side rear coil was broken when I went for a new inspection. The factory spring was broken so that it was probably an inch shorter then it should have been although not that easy to tell it was broken until you saw it, but it did explain some occasional anomalous noises back there, and the springs were clearly worn out, the car has just 95,000 km on it now.These variable rate Moog replacement springs are a huge improvement over the OEMs on my SE G5. The ride height is back to normal, you don't notice the slight rear end sag in your car until you actually replace them and see the difference. These are also stiffer then the factory springs and resist compression more, along with new rear shocks and a renewed front suspension the car handles better then new, rear sway due to them not having a sway bar is reduced a noticeable amount with these springs in place.

This was a no brainer due to the reputation of MOOG and the price point. Work swimmingly.

Fit perfectly

I had two broken springs on the back of my cobalt sedan. These improved the ride 100%. Great product from moog. Ride height is maybe slightly higher.
