Without doubt the best dental floss I’ve ever used I never thought about it previously when using plastic based floss - but such plastics are obviously bad for the body and the environment. This silk floss however is PLASTIC FREE - and produced ethically without harming the silkworms. Made of Organic Ahimsa (Peace) Silk - a totally Natural Dental Silk thread Eco friendly,Biodegradable and Compostable. This is a sustainable Zero Waste, Natural Way to Clean your teeth. I’m delighted with it, it’s far stronger than I was led to believe from other reviews and quite honestly the slight roughness to the thread means it’s far more effective at removing plaque etc. my teeth feel amazing! I will never go back to plastic floss or buy silk that is not Ahimsa (a method that is friendly to the silk worms ….. you need to know this as silk products that are not Ahimsa are not friendly toward silk worms (non-ahimsa methods involve boiling the silk worms which is of course disgusting…. Whereas this ahimsa silk allows the silk worms to flourish and live a happy life).

I have used this for a couple of years and my gums hate it when I run out - this floss is far superior at removing caught up bits of food than the traditional plastic floss. It is less smooth so it catches more. It will sometimes break when flossing, being a natural material, but it's well worth it. My gums love it and even my dentist wanted to know what I am using to get such good results.

As described with neat packaging. Does the job but there was little to no mint flavour, however that does not affect the quality of the product.

Unlike other well-known and more expensive makes of fluoride free dental floss this does not snap off between your teeth and if like me you have teeth that are close together finding a floss that doesn't break can turn into an online quest. As this dental floss is made out of silk it slides between the teeth with comfort and has a nice taste to it too. The silk is harvested humanely and to me seems the best medium for the job.

I love the fact that this dental floss is ethically produced, biodegradable and made from natural materials. I also love that no plastic is used in the packaging or container. I find that is doesn't shred easily for a natural silk floss. Flon gets top marks on all of these counts. However, the very big drawback for me personally is that the floss is simply too thick, too uncomfortable and too damaging to my gums to make it fit for purpose. If you are someone who has very little space between your teeth, who has crowded teeth, or tighter teeth spacing then you may experience the same problems as I did. That is, when attempting to fit the floss between the teeth, I have to use such force to get it to pass between the teeth that it hits the gum line with hard pressure and impact, causing pain, discomfort and often feeling as though it is slicing into the gums. It is sad that I love all of the qualities of this floss on paper but that I dread using it so much and definitely would not purchase it again. If it were just a fraction thinner/finer then I am sure it would do the job perfectly but at the thickness it currently is, I would not advise it for anyone with little space between the teeth. Weak and useless

Worked fine and I didnt have any issues with it breaking.

While I like the floss, it does shred right when you are flossing. Also, the case's cutter stopped working and when I contacted customer service for a replacement, they essentially said nah, too bad. I recommend that you don't buy this because the container will break and you'll need scissors to cut your dental floss. If this happens to you, customer service will not help you.

Ne fonctionne pas mieux que les autres fils dentaires. N'est pas vraiment solide. Trop cher. Bref, je ne recommande pas.

Marche aussi bien (voire mieux) qu'un fil dentaire classique, mais prend moins de place et est beaucoup plus joli sur votre lavabo, dans son petit flacon de verre. Ceci est la recharge.

Filo in perfette condizioni

J'ai fini par adopter ce fil dentaire car il créée moins de déchets plastiques. La qualité de son fil est similaire à celle à laquelle j'étais habituée. Il est aussi plus esthétique dans ma salle de bain. Le seul bémol est que le bout du fil a tendance à rentrer dans la "bouteille", d'où il faut aller le repêcher.
