Q: Can this model be set to use "just audio" or "just vibration" indication?

Sound can be turned off but not vibration......so sound and vibration .....or......vibration alone.

Q: Air powered in description above means what? Also in some of info it says 4AA batteries but it’s one 9-volt battery

I came here to ask the same 2 questions. Air powered, and battery. I have one and it is 9 v battery and nothing in the manuals mentioned air powered. Only states both of these twice in Amazon.

Q: can this go in salt water? ive had issues with metal detectors not working right in the sea water for some reason. Thanks in advance!

I bought this detector in the hour it would distinguish iron from base metals. Didn't work for me. Don't know about water use - not a water detectors
