Replaced my old alternator in my 1990 Silverado, fit perfect, installed pretty easy, and worked right away! Looks kinda cool with the black fan too! My battery was charged quick with full power.

I read reviews that all were positive. One did say he had to 'clock' the casing for his instal. I did too. There are alignment holes in the car and the brushes tomato this a 3 minute job.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Do not recommend, didn't last a month, and it quit charging.

As another stated, this thing works, but sounds like its screaming all the time.Update: This screaming banshee developed an internal leak, causing the battery to die when not running. Lasted 5 months.

I received the correct part and was delivered on time.

Just a note the one i received was not clocked for my application, how ever that is easy to do if you can change a alternator than you can clock a alternator

Price is right, no surface rust so far, has been on 5 weeks so far. that rear bolt that's there for no reason did not line up perfectly, made the job a little harder then needed to be but its aftermarket.
