Q: The picture is a snoopy harp, the description is a grover whistle. which is it, really?

The box has Snoopy on it and it is called "Snoopy's Harp" but looks like the metal item also shown. Hope that helps :-)

Q: Is the spring supposed to be touching the metal bar, appears to bent or manufacture deffect.

The spring should be attached to the harp at closed end but floating between the two open ends so NO, it should NOT be touching the frame anywhere other than where it is connected to it at the round end. Perhaps, you can shift it gently with your thumb (?)

Q: I tried it a few times, then noticed a small warning that usage causes exposure to lead. Is it possible the maker actually added lead?

I had no idea. I have found easier to play Dan Moi harps since buying this one.
