I'm very picky about my vitamins. I've looked at the ingredients in hundreds probably and tried dozens I think by now. This one has reasonable amounts of everything. It has natural vitamin e, not synthetic. It has iron. It has a whole days vitamin c. It's got extra B12 which is great because it's hard to absorb that from a tablet. It has slightly more zinc than copper. And its real vitamin a, not just beta carotene that different bodies convert to vitamin a at different rates. It also doesn't have insanely high levels of anything. So, you're not going to get way too much or put a heavy load on your kidneys to filter out the excess. It's very balanced. It doesn't taste good but it's not remotely as bad as many I've tried. Some vitamins make me literally gag and heave just smelling them when opening the bottle. These are gross but mildly gross. And, the instructions just say just 1 a day which is really nice for this quality of vitamin... And they're actually affordable!! I've seen multivitamins for $60 a month that didn't fit my criteria! Pros: Everything but the taste Cons: They're so a little gross, and the tablet size may be large for those not used to taking vitamins. I still need a fish oil supplement on the side, but I like that this doesn't have the fish oil already mixed in because tablets absorb multivitamins better for me than softgels. If you're previous vitamin had a lot of magnesium, you may need a side supplement, but I like not getting too much magnesium in supplements for me because too much magnesium gives me diarrhea &/or a fast uncomfortable heart rate. I would challenge anyone to find a more complete balanced multivitamin with real ingredients for the price anywhere!

I'm picky about my vitamins. I'm prone to fatigue in the mornings, but if I take a good quality vitamin the day before, I feel much better. So, I'm constantly on the hunt for a vitamin that clears up that fatigue and isn't so unpleasant that I casually forget to take it. I was on MegaFood's prenatal vitamin for a year, and even though I felt great taking it, the serving size was $1/day. So I went looking for a vitamin that had roughly the same nutritional profile. I found it here. This pill has all you need for Vitamin D, B12, and iron, with a nice boost of magnesium and a wee bit of potassium - all of which contribute to fatigue if they're lacking in your diet. The pill has a berry blend in it, so it tastes pleasantly of berries as it goes down. I haven't experienced any aftertaste or stomach upset with it. The pill feels like chalk, is quite large, and has some hard edges, so I need to take it with water (I don't with other pills). Overall, I'm happy and I wake up feeling perky.

Easy to take just once a day, quality ingredients

If you’re someone sensitive to scent of vitamins you’re taking, these may not be for you but otherwise they’re lovely! Has everything I need in my daily vitamin. Just toss it down the hatch and do your best to not sniff in while taking it.
