Before you replace your antenna amplifier or antenna, check your power inserter!
I had lost most of my OTA reception gradually over several months and was thinking my amp had failed or that my antenna had degraded over the five years I had owned it. I had bought a simple continuity tester to check the coax cables. They all checked out as good. Just for the heck of it I checked the throughput of the power inserter. No continuity.Well I don’t understand the electronics inside the power inserter well enough to know to be sure it was bad, but figured ten bucks for a new one was a lot cheaper than replacing the amp or antenna so I gave it a go.Problem solved! All channels back in action, just like when the antenna and amp were new.

Works Great for Comcast with low signal.
I have Comcast and was running into a low signal issue with a non-powered 6-port splitter sending tv signals into my home. I purchased this and a powered 8-port PCT amplified splitter. It took care of all my problems. I don't have a power outlet where my cable line is coming into my home so I needed this power inserter. This along with the power adapter and RG-6 coaxial cable allowed me to power the PCT amplified splitter from an outlet in the home next to a cable box. Works perfectly and all boxes in the house now get good signal. Would buy again.

This was perfect addition to making sure the power on the cable ...
I wasn't paid or given jack for this review. this is real. This was perfect addition to making sure the power on the cable line is amplified well enough for my cable modem, so that it stops losing connections. i paired this with a very nicePCT 1-Port Bi-Directional Cable TV, OTA, Satellite HDTV Amplifier Splitter Signal Booster with Passive Return And Coax Cablewhich significantly improved my cable modem's reliability & performance. no more dropped connections and blinking lights, i went from dropped connections every 5-10 minutes, to a solid connection for a week since installing these.

It works just fine
I have a bi directional amp in a closet where the cable company line comes into my condo. I needed this bi-amp because of some issue with the cable company line coming into the condo.Where I have my cable modem I have a UPS. So I wanted my bi-amp powered by the UPS. Used this inserter about 75 feet run to the modem and it worked just fine.

Works as intended.
I use this to energize a remote powered splitter. It's been running 24/7 since I installed it and it's been working without fault.

Works as expected
This power inserter allowed me to power an exterior mounted Antronix amplifier from inside the house. I don't have a power outlet outside, but plenty of them inside, including two next to the TV. I already had an Amplifier, Cable TV RF Broadband 11dB Gain Two Output 5-1002Mhz w/ Power Adapter with a power adaptor, and extra cables, so this power inserter was the only thing missing. I'm now pulling in HDTV from a transmitter 63 miles away using a 1byone Digital Amplified Outdoor / Attic HDTV Antenna, 70 Miles Range with Power Supply Box for VHF and UHF Band on a mast previously occupied by a DirecTV dish.

Also works with ComScope!
So far so good. I have it inserting power into a ComScope amp. The specs of this and the comscope power inserter is practically the same and I could not wait for shipping from ebay or xfinity to come back out.
