Heavy duty, works really well in steaming my baby’s veggies. Sadly the lid already has a few chips on the edges. The size is big and fits loads in. Weighs heavy, overall I would say good value, just be careful with the lid

I've used collapsible metal steamers for years, but I'm very pleased to have discovered this beautiful pyrex one. It's very roomy, so often halfway through steaming vegetables, I add other cooked items to reheat next to the veg. It's also very presentable, so I put it on a colourful plate and serve straight from it. And it definitely feels more hygienic than the metal ones.

Good quality steamer. Bought this after trying stainless steel and plastic ones, I feel that glass is safest. Be warned though, this is huge and a tad heavy, but you get used to it.

I assumed it would come as a complete steamer for use in the microwave which is what I searched for. However it is only the basket and lid - it has holes in the base so cannot be used in the microwave. It is so large I do not have another glass baser I can stand it in and stull fit in the microwave. The picture in the entry was deceptive - it looked as if there was a colander type fitting within a bowl. Totally useless as far as I am concerned

Perfect for one or two people, glass - so no nastiness leaking into food. Very easy to clean. Fits medium size saucepan. Easy to get out and use anytime, because the size is just so handy.

I would use Pyrex dishes even directly on a stove if I could! Easy to use, easy to clean, fits a 20cm saucepan exactly as it says, lid fits tightly, food steamed evenly, easy to clean, steam well contained within the steamer and not all around.

I ordered 3 sets..all three lids are too small and and uneven. If they are designed like this, it should be specified...since I don't like to return things. I'm not saying hermetically closed but not a gap where all the steam rushes out.I do not understand why the lid won't fit perfectly and instead wobble on top. The material is outstanding but the measurements of the lid and/or shape are wrong.Disappointed.
