Have not had basil seeds before but had read of the health benefits so got this product. Quite tasty when soaked in water or milk but I've been mixing them with yogurt, fruit, oats and other seeds too for variety. Too early to notice obvious health benefits but will most likely continue to eat these as part of my healthy varied diet. Appears to be good value for money.

I bought these after seeing them in use in a TV baking show having never heard of them previously. I now add them with other seeds in overnight oats soaked in juice, smoothie drink or yogurt and they expand slightly in the way that flax seeds do so bulk up a little. The TV cook was using them adding to fruit purée to thicken the purée but I have yet to try that. The seeds are tiny, tasteless and hopefully add fibre to my breakfast. They could also be added to baking like poppy seeds I presume. The kilo bag will last for many months!

They Do what Basil seeds are reputed to do. (Except possible the notion" they cool you down"...I think thats fanciful myself). I haven't tried growing them but I might as the seeds from the nursery didn't come up...But the volume of seeds gives me plenty to try different things with. But all in all, really good quality and nothing in the bag that shouldn't be there!

Drinks, very good! Have bought cheaper ones in the past, but the difference is very noticeable, highly recommended! 😁

Seeds used for cooking, nut butter and sprouting - good value

I wish I had known sooner how nutritious basil seeds are. Found it best to grind before soaking as heating could damage some of the benefits.
