Works as advertised, Super HOT!!!
I have a 2 car garage, and this heats it up perfectly. My garage is 250sqft, and again, this is to powerful for this area and has to be turned down or the garage door opened. In fact, if I didn't turn the heat knob down, it would be way to hot. I mean like I'm light headed shouldn't play with tools hot. Because of that it heats up the area very quickly and even on the windiest of days my non-insulated garage in Colorado is super warm. These are good problems! The mounting bracket isn't bad, it goes a few different ways and it's solid. Compared to any other shop fan it's not loud. It's built very durably, it looks like it could handle a drop. The outside doesn't get really hot, which is nice. I wish the fan had some options, and a timed turn off switch would be nice. Think about this for your future models. Look, it's super warm, simple to operate and durable. I recommend you buy it.

It works. (or did for 2mos)
Edit; See my original good rating below... This is an update. The heater worked great, but failed 15 days after the return window ended. I noticed yesterday that the "thermostat" stopped working. Today it won't heat my building properly, it has a burning smell. It does produce some heat, but I suspect one of the heater coils burned out. Very disappointing. -------------------------------------- I have a 16' x 16' lean-to roof building/shop. It's unattached to the house, it has a steel roof, no insulation and the double doors don't close correctly, leaving from 1/4" gap between doors at top, to a 3/4" gap between doors at bottom. This "Dura Heat 240V Electric Garage Heater, Wall/Ceiling Mount, 3,750 Watt Forced Air Heater" heats it easily. It was 39* outside last night, and was toaster warm in my shop. The power knob that turns it up or down was less than half way and I had to turn it down, because it got too warm. I'm confident that it will no trouble heating my shop when the temp is 20*. I think some of the negative reviews are people getting adapters to connect the heater to 120v outlets. The heater requires a 240v 20a outlet. I only just got this, but if it last at least a few seasons, then I'm very pleased the purchase

It heats pretty good.
I bought this unit knowing it would not heat the 850 sqft. Of my well insulated shot. So here's the scoop. After unpacking and testing on a workench and heat came out I used the mounting bracket to mark the screw locations on the wall and drilled pilot holes for mounting and put in the screws leaving room to mount the bracket. Step 2 I mounted the bracket to the enclosed strap I mounted earlier. Step 3 I hung the unit and bracket on the wall and secured the screws and plugged it in and turned it on. At that time the outside temp had come up from 28°f to 40° f. The shop was 50°f. In 2 hours the inside temp was 66°f. Mind you the ceiling in the wood shop is an average 10 ft. That's why I give this unit 5*s. Heat output is very good even if it won't fry your face 2 ft in front of it. Very safe and adequate. Temp only 3*s as it does not have a thermostat. Only 3*s because I know a lot of people don't know that a garage heater is not a main source of regulated heating. Noise level got 5*s but if you don't know about garage heaters you'll disagree. This one makes the noise of a 20" shop fan. You can carry on a conversation about 3' in front of it and don't need ear plugs. It's easy to hang and use and can heat better than I thought it would. But if you want 80°f on a 20°f day in an unheated 2 car garage, forget it and buy a 20,000BTU heat pump. Oh yes, actual rating is labeled as 3750 Watt so your 20 amp breaker is plenty good between 208 and 240 volts.

Could be better
This heater interested me because I have a 240v outlet in my unheated garage, which is roughly 800 square feet. The heater comes with a 6ft cord, so while it's portable, and I only have 1 240v outlet, I needed to get an extension cord (5000w used for air conditioner) in order to move it around. The heat output at the heater is lukewarm at best. I would have expected warmer air to be produced with the higher voltage. The fan is strong, and a little loud, but not too loud. I realize my space to heat is more than recommended, but after an hour, the temperature had risen only 4° (44-48). Not disappointed enough to return it, but I thought it would perform better. To take the chill off while I'm working on projects is all I was looking for, and it does that, although more slowly than I thought it would.

Fan always on, decent heat
It’s only 3750 watts, but puts out decent heat considering the high fan output. The fan runs all the time until you turn the switch off. The thermostat just controls the power to the element (when switch is on). I’m using it in our apartment on the air conditioner plug to warm up the house when we get home and then use regular heaters to keep it warm. it’s louder than the in wall Cadet heaters, but it is a shop heater so don’t expect whisper quiet. Overall it seems to work well! Started using it in the shop and It brings my 22x24x9 one window insulated shop up about 10 degrees F in 30 minutes. I like the heater, just wish it was quieter.

Great, for what it is....
Ok, some of these reviews are funny! Needs an adapter because it's a foreign plug, LOL. This needs a NEMA 6-20R Receptacle Outlet. It is 20 amp. Don't expect 30 amp heat. The max is 4000w on this plug. The one you plug in your bathroom is 1500w max. This does make heat, but only so much and the strong fan mask things a bit. Turn it off and hold your hand above it. It is considerably hot. The fan is good though, to distribute heat. I just happen to have this receptacle (outlet) in my garage, and this plugs right in. If you have this outlet, this is all the heat you can get out of it. Just remember, most are trying to heat a garage, and not the Wife's bathroom. 20 amp can only make so much heat. I bought a "used - very good" from Amazon. It was brand new for sure. Probably someone who didn't have a "foreign plug adapter". Was just what I was looking for. Not easy to find this in-between size. Like I said, already had the outlet in my garage.

Does not perform as advertised
It blows well, it does plug into the proper ports however the coils only get hot when fan access is covered. It barely blows any significant heat even when dial to max. I have a 20 x 20 x 10 garage equalling 400 square foot and 4000 cubic feet. This heater was not worth the price nor worth its efficiency rating. It is however, decently quite. The device never got hot enough for its auto shut off to work even at its lowest settings. Assembling it was relatively straight forward when looking at the diagrams but the directions were hard to read. Its ergonomics and natural stance makes it quiet uncomfortable to place anywhere given its relatively short cable at only 3 feet long.

Low Heat Output
The product is actually well built. It does have a bit of a noise. After all, there is a fan that is pushing air over the coils. However, for where I have it located it doesn't bother me much. Still, it does exist. The only disappointment really is the lack of heat that the product puts out for a 240 volt heater. I have a 120 volt radiant heater on the other side of the room and it puts out far greater heat. So, while I will keep it because perhaps it will come in use during warmer weather (50's & 60s), it's of little use when the temps get below that, and I'm forced to bring in the propane heater.
