Expensive, but worth it. The app is nice.
Great receiver. Pretty much using it as a preamp. Mated it with an older Marantz MM9000. Sounds great. Plan to hook up a couple Atmos and multi room speakers. Sound quality is great. User interface is nice, can control from my iPad. Initial setup is a breeze. Did have a little trouble with the trigger to my amplifier, ground loop noise. After much exploration ended up cutting the ground wire in the trigger cable. All is good!

Superb AVR
This SR 7015 AVR is an upgrade from the Denon AVR-X2700H which I believed produced very nice sound quality since I bought it. There were a number of features on the Marantz that the Denon did not have. I wasn’t expecting a huge difference in sound and video quality. Was I ever wrong! The differences in sound quality are not just subtle, but substantial if not dramatic in many ways. My AVR system uses all Polk speakers with an SVS 3000 Micro subwoofer. I am using 2 Polk Reserve R900 top firing Adobe Atmos modules seated on top of the Polk front speakers. Do not believe all of the skeptics about using top-firing Atmos modules. I am getting stunning Dolby Atmos effects with this arrangement. I also run my video through the “standard” picture quality option in the Marantz AVR. I never thought AVR receivers needed a break–in period, but after around 5 days, everything just blossomed. I have never heard such sound quality and seen such outstanding picture quality from my Sony Bravia 4K TV until now with this new SR 7015 AVR. All on all, I could not be more pleased with this Marantz AVR. It has delivered far more than what I expected.

Sound and video quality and of course to be reliable
I did have issue with getting 4K DVD to work correctly, Marantz support was worthless, they said send to them, which would have been a major hassle, well they did have me reset the firmware, also a hassle since I had to redo the sound calibration, which is a bit time-consuming. I have a Vizio M series 4K and I guess the HMDI I was using has some issue with the 4K ultra player, so I changed the HDMI port and works fine. My only gripe now is small but CES for TV will turn off the SR7015 but will not turn it on. Otherwise setup is easy, sound is great, and at the moment I only have 7 speakers hooked up, Still need to do my Atmos speakers.

The Perfect AV receiver or Upgrade for your media room
When I built my new media room I started with a Marantz SR-7011 which was a good system for the size of the room ( 24x14x8 ) and the Golden Ear surround sound speakers. When I recently added Dolby Atmos capable Golden Ear front height and ceiling speakers and an 80" Sony Bravia , it was necessary to upgrade to the amazing SR-7015 to handle the 11.2 surround ( I have additional 2 channel Anthem amp for the ceiling speakers to supplement the 9.2 that Marantz has internal amps for ). The on screen set-up is easy and user friendly. It asks questions...you answer . It does all the work ! The newest Audyssey MultEQ built in software is a simple, accurate set-up calibration of your system to the room in which it's used ! Beats the heck out of manually setting 11 speakers and 2 subs. Add a new 48Gb 8K ARC HDMI to your flat panel from the SR-7015 and you'll get the most amazing picture you have ever seen and enjoyed. The best investment you can make are your speakers first and then your A/V receiver ! Oh and the music in surround ( like YouTube ) is incredible too ! Buy this one and you will not be disappointed .

Seems to be a very well built unit, sound quality is clear and pleasant to listen to.
Very heavy unit, seems to be very well built, very sturdy. Lots of features and the sound quality is very good. This Marantz has nice clear sound and I can understand movie conversations that were hard to understand with old unit. With music I can hear individual voices of the singers and the different instruments. Not a cheap unit in cost, but if you want a good unit this could be the one to get.

Best AVR under $2k
Prior to COVID the MSRP was $2399 than alittle after COVID price raised up to $2499, a year after COVID, SoundUnited was bought out and raised the price to $2999. Now they have warehouse full of these an can’t sell them. So we are starting to see major sales happen. I recommend this AVR at $1499 for anyone looking for a receiver. as Once these sell out the Marantz Cinema 40 model that directly replaces this unit is $3500. This is overall a great AVR for price vs performance. Your not going to get anything better unless you start going up the ladder over 3k in price. Which at that point I’d recommend looking into separates. This unit is more than enough for the average joe with the amount of power and channels with all the latest features. For being a 2020/2021 unit it only has one 8k port, which isn’t that bad as not many device can really take advantage of 8k/4k 120hz unless you have both PS5 and Xbox Series X. I have both but I have my main in 4k 120hz. Meanwhile the other I play 4k 60hz which isn’t that big of deal because it only gets used one in awhile anyways.

Marantz is a notch above the rest
Extremely happy with the sound first and foremost: the more power the better the sound and it is immediately noticeable when listening. Huge difference in quality when spending more money on such a quality product. Was able to purchase when this particular model was going out of production in favor of a new recent wave of offerings from Marantz.

Brutally bad UI + features + Zone controls. Customer Service is dismissive + customer-hostile.
Terrible customer support, unhelpful, and neglected software/firmware updates to fix even the most simple and irritating of easily fixable problems. Look, this amp sounds OK, not stellar, but it's infuriating to operate. Only buy this if you are using the most simple of setups with A SINGLE ZONE -- the multiline support and UI is a total disaster. For example, all zones other than ZONE 1 disable themselves every single time the amp goes to sleep, so when you Airplay or whatever the next time you wanna play a song, you have to MANUALLY turn each Zone back on. So, press play, then find a remote, then bang a bunch of keys to turn Zone 2 or 3 back ON, then re-adjust the volume from the default settings... I mean, it's the saddest UI I've ever seen on a "modern" amp... completely defeats the purpose of having remote casting.

Excelente producto
Marantz es calidad garantizada, muy buen producto. El precio que lo compre accesible considerando que es un modelo no resiente, pero cubre muy bien las espectativas para tener un equipo de alta gama para Hi-Fi y calidad de sonido. Muy recomendado
