I have a Chinese Crested/Poodle mix who gets bathed daily. I've tried 2 other conditioners with OK results, not spectacular. I was looking for a conditioner that would keep his skin from drying out & getting flaky & keep his coat in good condition with such frequent bathing. I put 3 ounces of the Coat Handler in a 32 ounce spray bottle & filled the rest up with water. I spray him down pretty liberally after his bath. I really wasn't expecting great things with it being that diluted, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best stuff ever. His coat is soft & brushes out easily. I wouldn't say that he is especially shiny, but his hair and skin are in great shape. I like the smell--just kind of a clean soap type smell, not flowery. I would definitely recommend this conditioner & will continue to buy it in the future.

It conditions the fur making it soft. No more dry hair. Their skin is not dry either. Great smell and value of the money.

I like for my Standard poodles to have plenty of body to their show coats, not overly silky like some conditioners. This product works well to seal the coat without making it overly soft.

I have a 10 month old Havanese puppy and this is the best conditioner I have found. Her hair is beginning to transition from the puppy to the adult coat and she started to get more mats, especially behind the ears and her belly (even though I comb and brush her at least 5 times a week). When I use Coat Handler the number of mats is reduced to almost zero, and no static is generated when I brush her. Her hair always comes out super soft afterwards.Two issues keep me from giving it 5 stars: it doesn't really give shine and it is like searching for the lost city of Atlantis to find the ingredient list (no, you won't see it on the container). I found this ingredient list on groomerschoice: Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Coconut/Palm Conditioner, Panthenol, Benzoin Tree Gum Preservative, Water, Color, Almond Fragrance. If Amazon blanks out the site name and/or the ingredient list, just search the net for coat handler ingredients and you should find a site that provides the ingredients.

It has a very pleasant smell and Does help in detangling her fur.I pour a small amount in the palm of my hand and work into her fur -

Living here in the northeast in the winter can be tough on our long-haired English Setter's coat but this conditioner helps keep both tangles and static at bay

This is a great dog conditioner! I used it on all three of my dogs (yorkie, havanese, and a silkie terrier) and their coats came out so soft! It doesn't really add any shine, but adds amazing softness to all of their coats! We keep our yorkies coat short, so his coat gets pretty coarse when it's short, but after using this on him it actually made it so soft! I also enjoy the subtle scent because I don't like heavily scented things especially since all of my dogs have sensitive skin. I didn't leave it in (too afraid of irritating their skin) I just washed it off and it still gave me the results that I wanted

I have purchased this conditioner in the past and love the results I get with my pets! I don't know that this is an original product, as the bottle I received was thin and watery. Conditioner should not be watery. This product was so watery, I spilled half of the bottle when I opened it thinking it would be sealed. I contacted Amazon to complain and they sent me a replacement bottle. The replacement was also not sealed, was even more watery and does not have any kind of scent. Very disappointed in this purchase. I wish it would have let me give a zero star review.
