I bought this rack to better organize my heavier cookware, especially cast iron pieces and larger stock pots, and overall I’m very happy with it. I cook a lot and own more cookware than the average kitchen, but everything gets used regularly, so accessibility and practical storage matter more to me than display. This rack has definitely improved the organization and workflow in my kitchen. I currently use it in the wire shelving area of my butler’s pantry, where I store cookware and small appliances. Before this, a lot of my pots were stacked on shelves, which wasted space and made things harder to access. This rack freed up a noticeable amount of shelf space and stores heavier cookware much more securely and conveniently. The rack itself is quite sturdy once assembled. Mine is holding well over 30 pounds of cookware including a 15" cast iron skillet, a 7 qt Dutch oven, another 5 qt cast iron Dutch oven, plus several enameled stock pots ranging from 3–12 quarts. Even fully loaded, it feels stable and doesn’t wobble. The biggest downside is assembly. Putting it together by myself took the better part of an hour, mostly because getting the shelves balanced while attaching the legs took some trial and error. The included hardware was also disappointing — several of the cap nuts stripped during assembly. Luckily I have a fairly stocked workshop and was able to replace them, but not everyone will have spare hardware available. One thing buyers should know is that each shelf has a slightly different diameter and spacing, so cookware placement takes a little planning. Multiple items over 10–12 inches can be challenging depending on which shelf you’re using, while cookware under 10 inches generally fits fine. Height can also become a limitation with larger pots; my 12 qt stock pot is about the maximum practical size. Despite those issues, I would absolutely buy it again. The rack is sturdy, functional, and genuinely useful if you actively cook and need a better way to organize heavier cookware, Dutch ovens, or cast iron skillets. It also looks nice enough that it could work as a display piece tucked into a kitchen corner.

Sizeable, sturdy, and looks good. I have quite a few cast iron pieces and considering buying a second. Easy to assemble. Frees up valuable counter space and drawer storage. Works well in a farmhouse setting. Very stable once assembled.

To say I love it is an understatement. It is gorgeous and really shows off your cast iron collections. What I did not love was how Amazon treated the package, the package came so beat up it was falling apart. Also, building it is not as easy as it seems... it took me about 3 hours to assemble because I had to take brain breaks only to realize the legs need to be facing a certain way or else it will not line up. Be careful when assembling it too because you're not supposed to over tighten the screws so its really wobbly. Mine fell over before I tightened. This probably was a two person job but I dont have another person to help so just be ready to work on balance while tightening. It is very sturdy the quality is great on this rack.

What a great way to store all mt Lodge cast iron Pots. I wish that they would make a rack to store the square baking pans. This item is great, very sturdy.

This is a great, solid piece for its intended purpose. Assembly can be done alone, but a helper is strongly recommended. Only four stars because there are no spare parts, and one of the supplied cap nuts has damaged threads and is unusable. I'm off to the hardware store to find a replacement...

I'm giving the product 5 starts BUT the assembly instructions are lacking and you need to be aware there are no extra screws, washers, or nuts so if you loose one, plan on a trip to the hardware store. I'm of "advanced" age and put it together myself. I'm not going to say it was easy. But it's doable. The problem is that the instructions don't tell you that the poles/legs for the top and the bottom are not the same. The boxes aren't marked "bottom" and "top" so there is really no clue except for one drawing that isn't well marked. There is nothing mentioning it in the written instructions. The poles/legs with the wider connection at one end are the bottom ones. That's important if you want to only put it together once. And have a magnet ready when you put it together to locate any bolts or nuts you drop (you will I promise). Lodge cookware may still be made in the US, but this rack is made in Taiwan. It fits together great. But the instructions are lacking. Once together, I LOVE it. Very sturdy and very nice looking...even with the silver replacement nut from the hardware store in the back. ;)

I feel like the construction of the shelf is cheaply made. For this price, & coming from a company that sells the iron pots and skillets, you would think the rack they make to hold the iron ware would be of better construction. It is not sturdy & the bolts that it comes with to connect the shelves to the legs are extremely small. It doesn’t come with a tool, I have tightened and then used a small wrench to tighten the bolts. My husband who is in construction confirmed it is assembled correctly and the bolts are tightened as far as they will tighten. The only option I have is to bolt this to the wall but then I will not be able to move the unit around. Very frustrating and let down. I was looking fwd to getting this as I have a lot of the Lodge brand skillets and a Dutch oven.

This Lodge Cookware Storage Tower is exactly what I needed for my new cookware. I wanted something sturdy that would look nice in my kitchen. After reading all the reviews and several people saying how difficult the assembly was, I was on the fence as to whether to purchase this tower. I’m so glad that I did!! It arrived on time and I found the directions to be straightforward. Before I started I always check to make sure all the pieces were there, but the bag of hardware had missing screws. I immediately thought that this was a bad sign so I decided to return it and reorder another one. When I went to start the return process, I was very surprised that I was given a return less refund. I immediately reordered the tower hoping that all the hardware would be in the next order and it was. I’m not sure why the reviews stated that it was so difficult to assemble and that you needed 2-3 people but I found it to be just the opposite. I didn’t follow the instructions exactly because I thought it would be easier to build it from the bottom up instead of building the top section first and the bottom section last and then trying to pick up the top section to insert it into the bottom section. I built the bottom section first with the 3 shelves, then I inserted the top legs into the bottom legs and then proceeded to install the last 3 shelves. I assembled it by myself and it took me approximately 30 minutes from start to finish by doing it my way!! 😂😂 FYI…I went to my local home improvement store and was able to purchase the screws that were missing from the first order that Amazon so graciously gave me a return less refund. Even though there were missing screws from the first order, I feel that this review deserves 5 stars ⭐️ due to the tower itself being so amazing and beautiful but the awesome customer service provided by Amazon!! I would definitely recommend this Lodge Cookware Storage Tower!!

This is my 3rd pot rack. The first was the hopeless old dutch that can only fit 2 of my smallest pot despite having 6 levels. The second was a cheap China made 5 tier rack which is surprisingly decent, if it can improve on the design to make it more stable n less wobbly. Certainly I had nightmares of it collapsing together with my Staub cast iron pots. I suppose if you would had lightweight stainless steel pots, then it will not be an issue. Finally coming to this Lodge tower. I have this to say, BUY IT, now! It is far cheaper than Enclumes yet super strong and stable. I am gonna get another one soon. My only gripe is the paintwork can be a little patchy. Perhaps Lodge might consider making one from stainless steel. Yes, it's gonna cost more than this one but I will definitely be lining up for one. Or two!
