hi there, what is it's shelf's life ? and does it smell ? i'm planing to use it as body oil. thank you!

I've had this open and have been using it for 4 months. No sign of rancidity. Neutral clean smell. Haven't tried the body oil thing but it's perfect for stir fry in a wok.

What is the refining process?

Hi Big Mike, Kevala has a "natural" refining process that is basically exposing the oil to changes in temperature, and using natural filters made of silica to reduce the color, smell and taste of the oil.The Kevala avocado oil is cold pressed from the flesh of avocados.It is perfect for high heat, the smoking point is between 450 and 520 F.
