Good beard trimmer
Hard working beard trimmer. Gets alot hair on it, so have to clean it every time I use it. It's light weight and not as loud as my previous one. It was inexpensive due to it being corded. Fits good in the hand.

Been searching for the perfect beard trimmer
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect beard and mustache trimmer for the past 30 years. I finally found it! It’s corded (never running out of power), has substantial power (cuts through coarse beard hair like butter), comes with a goof proof beard size attachment (that has multiple lengths with a slight adjustment up or down), and does not vibrate out of control in your hand while cutting (it’s a smooth “buzz” feeling on your hands). And lastly, how can you beat the price? It costs 1/8 of all the fancy clippers I’ve tried over the years. Only suggestion would be to make this trimmer in a larger size, to cover a bit more real estate, for a beard (so you can have this mustache trimmer type, and the full beard trimmer type). Other than that, it’s perfect. Want a manly trimmer? Get this.

Cheap and Durable - Corded Is The Way To Go
I have owned and used this regularly for a few years now. After going through several cordless trimmers, I realized that they are all basically disposable. The batteries die eventually and then the trimmer goes in the trash. If you travel constantly, then sure a cordless trimmer that doesn't need a specific plug or a cord is handy. But probably 99% of the time, I am cutting my beard in front of my home bathroom mirror. So using a cordless trimmer at home is basically a waste of money. Maybe you can make your beard look perfectly even without a blade guard, but I can't. This has a pretty good blade guard, it is adjustable, it doesn't slip or shift, and you are unlikely to lose it. I like the adjustable design much more than those ones that come with a bunch of different, fixed length guards you have to clip onto the trimmer. That's more clutter in your drawer, more to lose, etc. But adjustable is no good if it slips while you are cutting, and this one stays where you put it. Just as importantly, you can easily remove and reattach the guard here with no hassle. You are inevitably going to take the guard off every time to do the final trim/clean-up around your beard using the bare trimmer, and whoever designed it understood that. The guard is also sturdy enough that I don't particularly worry about it getting broken or being unable to protect the cutting heads when I occasionally do need to throw it into a suitcase. The only thing I don't like about it is that the little marks to see what depth it is set at are very small and difficult to see. The trimmer itself is pretty basic and simple, but it gets the job done. It will get warm fairly quickly if you leave it on, it is designed to quickly trim your beard and then be turned off, so you are not going to cut your hair with it or anything like that. It has held up pretty well.

More Trim 4 the $$$$
Have been using this trimmer 2 to 3 times weekly for about 2 months now. I had gone through about 4 rechargeable trimmers the last 3 years and noticed those rechargeable units do not last like they used to with the battery pack failing much sooner vs. past units...This "corded" unit is working out great so far providing a better trim than the budget friendly rechargeable units were doing and no need to charge or wonder when unit would start failing to hold a charge? Basically same price for this corded unit with a better more powerful trimming experience...better trim for the buck and inexpensive...strongly recommend

Affordable and compact
So glad I went back to a plug in trimmer, I mean there's always a plug whatever sink I'm trimming at. No more cordless shutting off mid shave. The Conair brand is tried and true. Affordable and very compact.

Not a Pleasant Trimming Experience
The Conair Corded Beard and Mustache Trimmer has a couple of serious issues that keep it from receiving a better rating. Proves and Contras: On the plus side the trimmer does not require recharging, which places this trimmer in a separate class from all the disposable planned obsolescence trimmers. The trimmer is comfortable in the hand, and the power cord is an appropriate length of 6ft. The trimmer seems to have sufficient power and has a nice steady hum when in operation. The trimmer head is around 1 inch and is just small enough to get behind the ears and eyebrows. Sadly, this is where the pros come to an abrupt stop. I have had some serious problems trying to use this trimmer including excessive heat and poor trimming results. The trimmers metal cutting head absorbs heat transferred from the motor. If you plan to spend more than about 10 minutes trimming the metal piece becomes hot to the skin requiring a 5 minute cool down, especially when using this trimmer in sensitive areas. This leads to a larger complaint, the poor trimming. For some reason this trimmer does not trim effectively. For example, every trimmer I have ever used whether corded or cordless trimmed hair at the slightest touch of the trimmer. However, when I try to trim my moustache’s long hairs with the Conair I have to press and repress the trimmer against my hairs to get a trim. This leads to having crooked lines, missed hairs, and a frustrating result. I always carry a beard and use this trimmer on a monthly basis just to trim up my moustache and to even out my beard. I will say this trimmer does the job, and for the price, I cannot complain too much. However, I wanted to give an honest review so that others have a better idea of what to expect from this trimmer. While this trimmer will trim up your beard, it is not a pleasant experience and if I could take back my purchase for a slightly better corded trimmer I would. My recommendation, if you cannot afford a nicer trimmer the Conair will work; however, I would recommend spending a little more for a corded Wahl or similar product if you intend to use your trimmer on a frequent schedule. Thanks, K.S. Phillips

Echo of what so many others are saying
As many others have said, the biggest plus of this unit is the fact that it plugs in and does NOT rely on batteries, rechargeable or otherwise. I have had a Conair beard trimmer with all the fancy attachments, including 2 alternate trimming heads, and whatnot. Only problem was it used a rechargeable battery. It was fine for a few years but then it started getting weak before I was done trimming. And trimming takes only a few minutes so running down that quickly is definitely annoying and unacceptable. I made a habit of running the battery until it was totally discharged, as "they" recommend you do with rechargeable batteries. But it finally got to the point where I could get part of my beard trimmed & had to recharge the thing for a few hours (while I wouldn't let myself be seen in public) so I could finish the job. And then only just barely got it done. So given that the old trimmer was fine other than the battery, I got another Conair. Seems to me when I was shopping for that old trimmer, you couldn't get one that just plugged in. I was very happy to find this one, and the price is certainly right. I've read some comments here that it doesn't cut through the beard. You guys must have beards like corn fields. Maybe you ought to make your first pass with a pair of scissors before you use the electric trimmer. I must say I sometimes get lazy & let mine get a bit bushy, but the trimmer deals with it just fine. As for attachments & all, I had them & never used them. I've always used the bare trimmer blade without any attachments. I turn the blade over so the metal surface is against my face & I shear away. So I was perfectly satisfied that there were only a couple of attachments with this new one. Which I will never use. But I do wish they had included a little cleaning brush. I just saved the one from my old trimmer. Big deal. One comment says the cord gets twisted. Ummmm....... Untwist it every now & then? Duh . . . One comment says it gets hot after 20 minutes. What do you expect? It's an electric appliance. Electricity generates heat. What takes you 20 minutes? We are talking about a human face here, right? Not a gorilla? Tools have applications. Use this one for its INTENDED use, not something else.

Do not recommend.
Update 1 (April 18th, 2024): - This is a 120V product with a US plug. I have to use a converter. - Cannot adjust the clipper for a closer shave. - No cord tie included.
