This replaced a TV that died same brand and dvd player. It's working fine.

Just what I needed.

This is a really nice television. I was looking for a small tv(but not too small) to use in my Kitchen, so I wanted something that would fit beneath a standard cabinet. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen rather than in the living room. My wife and mine viewing preference differ a lot, so you know who watches the 55" HD and who watches the 19" in the kitchen!Also over the years I have a large collection of DVD's that I have never gotten to watch. Just too busy I guess. So I wanted a built in DVD player. Not that easy to find in this small sized TV, but this Proscan does have it. That was a deal maker.The only bad things I have found aren't really bad, they just don't exactly fit my needs. First is the sound. I am older so I need the sound a little louder and this TV doesn't do too well in that category. Not a big thing, because we have an open floor plan and if I run my TV loud enough to hear then my wife lets me know it is too loud. So, I use a RF headset. works fine, I can hear great and my wife don't b...h at me. I don't think, I can't hear anything with my headsets on anyway:) The only other thing I can see is that the output from the DVD is not stereo. So I only get sound out of the left side of my headset when watching DVD's. It's fine in any other mode but the DVD just doesn't do stereo.The DVD in the photo on this add is shown on the right side. The one I got, it is on the left. And the stand is not the same either. The TV pictured has a single pedestal in the center, whereas the one I received has a small set of legs on either side. Don't know if these are important to you. They were not to me.All in all I'm still giving this product four stars because I really like it and will continue to use it. It does exactly what I bought it for and that' all I can really ask.

I would really like to give this product a no star due to their very poor customer service but not possible. I bought this TV for my husband as a xmas gift for the RV. Well he installed it a few weeks back as we are getting ready for a trip. Big problem with the remote sensor. It only works if you tap on the side of the TV. So under a manufacturers warranty of ,one year we called the company. The first rep who's name was Andrew had us walk through the reset applications and of course that has nothing to do with it so it did not work. In the process of putting us on hold he hung up on us, so we immediately called back and went through the hold process a 2nd time for about 15 minutes. (First time was also at least that long). This time we got Daisy on the line who also wanted us to do the reset process again but we told her that we had and it did not work not that it absolutely had nothing to do with it. She proceeded in telling us at that point that we would have to send the TV back to them at our expense and they would fix it. Well call me STUPID but that is not good business. We than escalated the call and asked for a supervisor and was then told there was none available. I've been down that road before so we demanded one and again was put on hold while she said she would find one. 5 or 10 minutes later she comes back on the line and gets our mailing address and phone number which they already had from the first call and said that a supervisor would be calling in 3 to 4 business days. Well needless to say that was 2 weeks ago and we have heard absolutely nothing. Oh they also asked for email and we have heard nothing by that means either. I am very disappointed with this and will never buy another thing from this company. I do not recommend this product to anyone. This company does not stand by their product...

If you need a small screen TV, this is one GREAT LITTLE TV. You couldn't find anymore TV than this for the price or 19" size range. I use it for my second bedroom when guests stay over. Although it would be perfect for the 'kids room' or kitchen counter.If you can still find one of these, new, and still for sale I highly recommend you pick One Up..!! Before they're all gone! That dvd player it has is a nice bonus and convincing sale maker for me. Very happy with my find. Would recommend it to my friends.(ps. This tv does have 2 hdmi slots not one like many reviews state. Nice.)

Our old TV/DVD player started having disc read errors so we after reading a few reviews on what's still available in the market, we went with this model. I already had a wall mount and needed washers to shore up the slack in the screws. The picture is adequate, but the black is pushed a bit with blue noted at the bottom edge. Again, not bad given I'm not watching all my TV on this thing. DVD discs must be inserted with label facing towards the rear (wall). I made the mistake of putting it in "backwards" twice, thinking this one didn't work out of the box. Luckily the screen gives a warning to check the direction the disc has been inserted and to put it in as I've said. I'm disappointed that the unit doesn't hold your spot in a film when you turn it off and back on. It will instead go back to the top menu and I have to skip ahead to a point where I left off. The sound is frankly atrocious. Granted the speakers aren't large, but it's like listening through a tin can on a string, there is no low end (bass) at all. The setup and menu are easily navigated and the presets are handy, though manual tweeking may be required to reach a happy medium. The feeds include 1 each: coax audio, service, HDMI, VGA, PC audio in, RCA, antenna coax, and a headphone jack. Overall great price for a compact TV/DVD player easily installed and setup. Speakers are constrained, and picture is adequate.
