It's very sturdy and come with a sandbag you need to fill ..snappy, contrasty light

Quality seems super high overall and the light options it provided were awesome but I immediately noticed an issue with the bowens mount flash holder. Take a look at the picture I provided. Two of the 3 metal supporting rods kept popping out so I immediately contacted Adorama. To be honest, the help I received was poor. Their tech support person couldn't tell if the rods popping out were an issue, or designed that way, so he said he was going to contact the shipping department and have them find a replacement part to test out in order to figure things out. Ok sure, but after waiting almost a week with no response, even after I contacted him again, I just decided to return it and get my money back. If you look closely, you can see red glue residue on the tip of the rod. They're clearly not meant to pop out. Imagine the remaining rod would've popped out and dropped my flash. No thanks. I might buy it again in the future and see if I get lucky. It would have to be on sale though. Then I could buy glue for metal with the savings lol.

Good value for your money, I'm not professional, however i have 30 years in the trade, it works as a parabolic reflector is supposed to work. There are European alternatives that cost several hundreds or more, this one performs very well, i cannot comment on durability, i have only used for few months, but the materials and manufacture looks very good.

First of all. For this price there is not much reason to complain! BRON, BRIESE etc. cost an order of magnitude more than this humble parabolic reflector.In the spot positions it more or less accomplishes it mission of a concentrated pool of even light.Given its rather diffuse reflective surface it fails to deliver the typical wide parabolic look. In wide position the fabric is not shiny enough to render a dark center. The result lacks the contrasty look of the BRONS and BRIESES...For the price.... no complaints... you risk lusting for the real deal after some time tho..... you have been warned.

I love everything about this light modifier. It comes with an inner baffle and also front diffusion. The dog photo was taken without anything diffusing. The holiday set was with both inner baffle and outer diffusion. Made the shadows very soft and interesting. Love this thing so far.

This is a well made device that throws a great quality light. Almost as good as the Broncolor for 1/15 the price.
