Works great, smells awful!
** I would like to add that while they are technically reusable I would recommend NOT reusing them after a certain time. I emptied one from last season and refilled it. The jar is working perfectly fine, and continues to catch flies. However the dead fly detritus that I emptied into a plastic bag and then tossed in my trash can has become a swarm of fly larvae. Hundreds of little worms hatched with in a day of rustling up and disturbing the trap. So either learn from my mistake and if you intend to reuse the jar, empty it and refill promptly. ** This thing is great and disgusting at the same time. We live downtown and have dogs so we get a ton of flies in our yard, and this this is great. I got this jar one and the bait replacements and the jar gets filled up with flies in a month. The smell is awful... something between dog poo and death, but the flies go straight to it. To change the bait I put on disposable plastic gloves and dump the contents into a plastic ziplock bag and zip it up and throw it away on garbage day, gloves and all. I also keep it in the furthest corner of my yard which keeps the smell from being intrusive.

Smells Super Bad
OK, this fly trap attracts flies and kills them, a ton of them. But as long as you have it up and going there will continue to be flies because they are attracted to this fly trap. The flies will keep coming. The smell is hard to tolerate. We had it going for 5 days and a ton of flies were trapped and killed which is SUPER GREAT! The smell is really strong and offensive, even to the neighbors if they are close by. So it kills tons of flies and has a sickening smell. We have vultures in the area too and they could be attracted to the fly trap as well.

The BEST and WORST product
This worked amazing! After 2 weeks it filled out with flys. The SMELL WAS THE WORST SMELL TO EVER EXIST. I will not buy again because it made my yard have the most unimaginable stink there is. Catching a wiff from the wind could put you into a a full thrown vomit. Now itโs full and I need to dispose of, but Iโll suffocate of the smell in that process so not sure what to do about discarding without dying.

Works great but stinks soooo bad!
Well, 2 ways to look at this! First off, it really worked! It was gross to see the hundreds of flies that it caught w/in a couple days! But it says to keep it out side and I'll tell you why! I spend time out in our garage and originally placed it right outside the garage door. It started smelling like hot, rotten garbage so I just assumed that it was our actual garbage since it was summer and that can happen. I finally realized it was the fly catcher. OMG, I can't even describe the horrible smell, BUT it worked and I guess that's what flies like! So, basically if you can deal w/ the smell it does work!

Not as good as other brands
Lid doesn't stay up unless hanging, and doesn't seem to collect as many flies as other fly bate traps that I've used in the past.
