These are very nice plant stakes and a very good value. As other reviewers have said, they are not indestructible, they are hollow metal tubes with a green plastic covering, and they will bend if you force them into solid dirt, so just make a starter hole if your dirt is solid and hard. One end is pointed, the other is not. These serve me well as support for my tomatoes, beans, other climbing plants. I anticipate that these will last for a very long time.

Plant stakes are sturdy and easily pound into the ground with a rubber mallet. Stakes are sturdy and are currently holding up tomato vines and pepper vines. Thickness and size are as described in the description.

I didn’t know these came with caps on both ends that are bigger in diameter than the poles and I really didn’t want for my application but I am sure it may be a plus for most people. If it is not an issue for you then they appear to be great garden stakes.
