Easy to learn and fun to play, Colorow is the strategic color-matching card game. Match colors to create rows, working to find combinations that allow you to lay all of your cards, but prevent others from doing the same. Its compact design makes it easy to transport and its simple directions make learning a breeze. Colorow is sure to be your new favorite for game night! Goal: Be the first to play all of your cards on the Colorow. Setup: Deal 8 cards to each player. The color marker (the two-sided card with a different color in each quadrant) is placed in the middle. Remaining cards are laid face down, serving as a pick up pile. Getting Started: Decide who will go first. This person must play a card from their hand that has two quadrants matching those of the color marker. Lay the card down, overlapping the matching quadrants. Play continues in whatever direction the first card indicates, starting a row that runs either vertically or horizontally. Once the direction of the row is selected, play can happen at either end. Game Play: Take turns matching two quadrants on the existing cards, following the direction of the first play. If you can’t play, draw a card from the pick up pile. If you can play it, do so. If you can’t, your turn is over. If you exhaust all the cards in the pile, take the cards from each end of the row and use them to start a new row, laying them side by side. You can now play off either of their outer edges, laying in the same direction as before. Remove the color marker from the deck and shuffle the remaining cards for the pick up pile. Play continues until one player has no cards left in their hand. MADE IN USA From the makers of Cards vs. Dice - Strategically Lucky

Handy & Fun
I picked out this game because I realized we play the same ones every year at our holiday gatherings and we needed to mix it up. What’s great about the size of this game is that it’s convenient to pack--it fits easily in my purse--so we don’t have to lug around a big board game to entertain our families. As far as game play, there’s more strategy than I first anticipated, which is great. The directions are not super complicated, making it easy to teach to new people. It’s cool that when we’re not with a group, my husband and I can just play it ourselves. There’s a lack of variety when it comes to two-person games, so I’m thankful to have something new.

Too simple for my tastes
I gave this to my mom as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. She enjoyed it a lot, but I found it to be too simple. I would suggest it for children, but there are other pocket sized games with more complexity that would be better for adults. Additionally, I didn't feel like the container would be well suited for travel.

Easy to play
I bought this to use with 90 year old ladies with poor vision. They can see the cards without difficulty and caught right on.

A simple game based on matching color pairs
A nice simple game you can learn in 1 minute. Good for youngsters or elderly to foster attentiveness to simple details via color arrangements.

Easy to learn
This game is a great alternative to the traditional domino game. I like the asthestics and fact that matching colors is easier than counting dots. This can be played 1 v 1 or with a group of people. It is easy to transport coming in a small box and compact to carry around. I could see also playing some variations to the enclosed rules card...in fact I have already done so playing at home with my wife and daughter.

Such a fun game!
Colorow is simple to learn, and really fun! I'd highly recommend it (and seriously, at that price it's a steal). The game itself is high quality, and comes in a handy little box that makes it super portable.
