Q: Will these high-capacity cartridges work for a MC3224 Lexmark?

This Amazon listing incorrectly says that this high-capacity cartridge is compatible with the Lexmark MC3224adwe. It is not. I bought one and installed it in my Lexmark MC3224adwe. It fit perfectly, but the printer gave me an error message and refused to print. After spending 35 minutes on the phone with Lexmark tech support, we figured out that Amazon had sold me the wrong toner cartridge for my printer. Only the standard-capacity toner cartridges work with the MC3224adwe. I returned this cartridge to Amazon and bought a C3210, which works. Amazon, please correct this listing.

To put it simply, a cartridge is just the container that holds your toner. In a laser printer, a toner is in powder form while an inkjet printer is in ink (liquid) form. Laser Printer = Toner Cartridge Inkjet Printer = Ink Cartridge
