Excellent resource book for becoming familiar with the many Handguns in the marketplace. The information helped me to know what to look for in a handgun that would fit my needs for home defense and sports shooting. The information gave me a good working knowledge of the right things to do when handling my handgun and how to be safe.

I'm not new to guns. But it's been years. This book covers most topics and more thoroughly than others available on Amazon.

Some of it seemed like it was marketing for the products and services that were discussed. Still, there was a lot of useful information in it for someone starting from virtually complete ignorance about handguns.

Fairly comprehensive and useful information. I enjoyed the book, but skimmed through some of the sections about more obscure caliber weapons and ammo.

Nice book for a newbie like me. Has helped me make up my mind what to shop for.
