Sorry quick correction the valve number for my toilet is dv-f812v21 ?

Sorry, we can't see your original part, but if your toilet is one piece with top button, the tank height would be 10"-12.8",the tank hole in 2.56"-2.95". it can be used.

Will yhis item work on horow 8737?

Don't buy this component, because while it will work, you're not going to like the results. My toilet ran like a whisper before--then I used this replacement valve kit and the toilet works--REALLY LOUD. It wakes people up in the other room (the bathroom is connected to the master bedroom). Get a better version from someplace else like Lowes or Home Despot.

Will this work on my Costco WaterRidge-c22148c toilet?

No. This is not the correct piece.

How do you secure the valve to the screw

The top half of the flush valve twists off exposing the screw and metal piece that will hold the valve down. Loosen the screw allowing you to fit the bracket into the water drain and then tighten up the screw which will tighten up the flush valve. Then twist and lock the the rest back.
