The book reveals many points about current history and faith that have often been overlooked in other scholarship. I am glad to have it as part of my library.

Superficial and sometimes confusing.Examples: 1. 'Tewahdo' in some places defined as a unity of old and new testament. Really? 2. A statement 'Ethioipian church not represented in the Chalcedonian council.' Wasn't the Ethiopian church under the Egyptian Synod at that time? 3. Explanations on how Ethiopian Orthodox church is different from orientals is NEW. It made it appear we were close to Chalcedonians.
