Took the plunge after a lot of research..(didn't leave even one of the reviews unread online). T&V Kugel is the best bang for the buck speaker set available at 20K price point. The frequency response is just amazing, something that needs to be heard to be believed. Very punchy bass and very sweet mid range. The High frequencies are also reproduced very beautifully. They certainly can replace your monitors and also take care of your friday night parties. No nonsense speaker, purely designed and engineered for the music lover. I cudnt be happier. A most basic Yamaha Rx and floor speaker set would have costed me twice as much and still would not have satisfied the music lover in me. ( I tested the RS 202BL with NS8390 speakers) . At half the price, the Kugel is an absolute winner. I certainly miss the volume level display but can live with it since sound is all about hearing and sight rarely does have a role to play. The speakers, when not playing will rest on your tv shelf without attracting much attention, but switch them on and you have a Kishore kumar on steroids. It comes with all the necessary connections, Optical for my LED TV, Bluetooth for my phone and Alexa, RCA for my laptop. Cant ask for more in a small little package and at this price point. In fact, I have more than I asked for. P.S. always use a power stabilizer in India, I blew up my last speaker system owing to a power surge. Lesson well learnt and I bought one along with the speaker set. I cudnt get the dimensions of the speaker set anywhere on the net and hence putting it here. Has been a long search for me to narrow down on a set of speakers that are worth to listen to. T&V Kugel just offered that at a very affordable price. I am compelled to write this review after 4 months of use. I more than recommend this to anyone who is looking for absolutely beautiful sound quality & build quality. The only down side is that it has a basic set-up. No display for configurations or volume levels, not so good remote and it’s slightly tricky to get used to it. It needs getting used to point the remote properly towards the sensor which is only one of the unit. Probably if you keep the speakers at the same height as the TV, it wouldn’t be much of a hassle.

If you love to listen the music with bass this is the speakers for you. Sound production is very clear and crisp. Amazing speakers don't think just go for it. Kugel 👌🏻👍🏻

Have been using these beautiful sounding speakers at home for about 9 months now, and they have already witnessed some crazy parties. If you are looking for bookshelves with a deep sound,and your budget doesn't cover the audio engines,go for these,,you definitely won't be disappointed.

Very good speakers. Clarity of the speakers is awesome. Good thing bass, mids and highs are very clear. Very pleased with Thone and Vander. Never loved to listen to music more thenews now. Very reasonable price. I would rank it at 4 out of 5.

I've never heard of a nice crisp sound as the one this pair of speakers give. Great sound plus a lot of power. I am using a Toslink cable and am able to get a really nice balanced base out of them from my PC. Kugel’s provide you with multiple inputs. The specification is very good as with the high-quality speaker cable connections. And also the benefits of Bluetooth. Also the great price.

Habe die Lautsprecher nun seit ca. 10 Monaten in einem Büro in Betrieb, mein Fazit: Warum diese: Ich suchte besserer PC-Lautsprecher, ursprünglich wollte ich klassische Studiomonitore, eine lange Recherche später entschied ich mich aufgrund des damaligen Preises von 199,- und der wenigen aber sehr positiven Reviews für dieses Modell - Rücksenden ginge zur Not ja auch. Die Monitorkonkurrenz in ähnlichen Dimensionen war deutlich teurer. Allgemeines: Die Verpackung schien mir etwas unprofessionell, die Styropor-Teile wirkten wie von Hand auf die richtige Größe gebrochen und die Karton sah etwas zu schwach für das Gewicht aus - ich befürchtete schon Second-Hand-Ware. Aber die dünne sauber angelegte Schaumstofffolie um die Lautsprecher, die Batterien der Fernbedienung in OVP und auch sonst keine Fingertapser wirkten wieder beruhigend. Ein einzelner Lautsprecher ist mit 22 x 36 x 25 BxHxT recht groß, auf dem Schreibtisch neben einer Doppelbildschirmkonstellation wirkt das Paar deshalb recht dominant, auch weil der dunkle Farbton bei weißem Schreibtisch und weißer Wand "dick" macht. Die Seitenteile werden zu den Kanten hin etwas schmäler, zusammen mit dem strukturierten Holzfurnier sehen die Lautsprecher dadurch nicht ganz so "Block"-förmig aus - Schönheitspreis gewinnen sie aber nicht. Mit abgenommenen Stoffgitter kommt die gelbe Membran des Tieftöners schön zur Geltung, inzwischen habe ich zugunsten des Klangs die Gitter aber wieder montiert, dazu später mehr. Anschluss war easy, alle benötigten Kabel waren dabei, bei mir war das 1,5m lange Klinke auf Chinch-Kabel im Einsatz und wurde kurz danach durch ein längeres ersetzt. Das Verbindungskabel zwischen den Lautsprechern ist 3m lang, auf dem Schreibtisch ausreichend. Das Stromkabel ist mit 1,5m recht kurz, kann aber leicht durch ein längeres ersetzt werden. Wie andere Rezensenten schon bemerkt haben, ist die ganze Elektronik und die Bedienelemente in der rechten Box, die linke ist quasi passiv. Bemerkenswert dass das Verbindungskabel 4-Polig ist, vermutlich werden Hoch- und Tieftöner getrennt angesteuert. Inbetriebnahme: Diese war sehr einfach, Kabel anstecken, Stand-By-Taste drücken (Klang ertönt), nochmal Input-Taste drücken um auf Line-In zu schalten - fertig. Die Bluetooth-Kopplung mit dem Handy ist ebenfalls sehr einfach, die Lautsprecher werden als "T&V Kugel BT" sofort erkannt und können ohne Probleme für die Medienwiedergabe genutzt werden. Der optische Eingang wurde mangels passender Quelle nicht getestet. Klang: Das wichtigste ist natürlich der Klang, und hier bin ich einfach nur begeistert. Egal ob Rock, Metal, Jazz oder Vocals, alles klingt absolut ausgewogen und mit einem sauberen Bassfundament. Richtigen Tiefbass darf man zwar nicht erwarten, aber für dieser Größen- und Preisklasse sind sie nicht zu toppen - und ich habe schon viele Lautsprecher gehört. Ich habe auch schon eine Gartenparty damit beschallt und war danach noch mehr begeistert, auch bei höheren Lautstärken (Bei denen sich Leute aber noch unterhalten können) klingt alles sauber ohne Verzerrungen. Anfangs hatte ich die Gitter entfernt, dadurch wurden begannen aber meiner Empfindung nach die Höhen etwas zu "zischen", vor allem bei niedrigen Lautstärken. Mit Gitter klang es etwas runder. Es gibt zwar die Möglichkeit, Bass und Höhen noch etwas anzupassen, nach vielem Herumprobieren komme ich aber zum Schluss dass die Werkseinstellung sehr gut abgestimmt ist. Sonstiges: Etwas lästig ist tatsächlich die automatische Abschaltung nach 3 Minuten bei keinem oder sehr kleinen Eingangssignal. Möchte man leise Musik hören, sollte man die Lautstärke am Lautsprecher selbst und nicht an der Quelle reduzieren. Bei Bluetooth oder bei Verwendung des optischen Eingangs sollte das aber kein Problem sein. Auf die Werbung mit "German Engineering & Design" gebe ich allzuviel, wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe steckt eine amerikanische Firma dahinter, die damit und mit dem Deutsch klingenden Namen versucht amerikanische Kunden zu locken - Solange die Qualität aber passt kein Problem. Der Empfänger für die Infrarotfernbedienung sitzt im rechten Lautsprecher hinter der Stoffabdeckung - mit Abdeckung muss man schon recht genau zielen, ohne Abdeckung geht das leichter. Sollte mir noch etwas einfallen, werde ich die Rezension noch ergänzen...

no over exaggeration, these speakers are so crisp to listen too, they are a lot bigger then they look and the bass is handled really well because it docent ruin the sound but its really strong, no faults so far, feel like they are worth more than they are selling for!!! would have these over the KRK's and day of the week!
