Remote powered 12v relay
Great use for front hood or grill electronics like Led Spot or Fog lights or siren without penetrating the firewall. All wiring under the hood. Remote On and Off, constant 12v battery power connected to auxiliary devices. Works well while driving or outside of car. Non-fused.

Easy to install. Works great on boat 12 volt system
I installed a set of backup cameras on my boat that required 12 volt power and had to wire them under the deck. I needed an easy way to turn the power on and off. I installed this in the bottom of the boat in the back, I can easily turn them on and off now from the cab of the truck pulling the boat. Very nice and super easy. My recommendation is to figure out how you want to connect things and buy the connectors you need at the same time. This does not come with wire or connectors and you may need terminal connectors if going to the battery, and probably some 14 ga. Wire. It was easy once I had all the wire and connectors. The key fobs are pre-programmed, so once I got everything wired up, it just worked.

1 million uses, maybe more
This is the 2nd one I've bought of this style by "dstfuy". I own 2 others that are the mini versions. I like this model for its robust construction, durability, and ease of use. It also has a "momentary on" setting that the others don't have. The settings I use are "on/off, toggle, and momentary". These relays have an unlimited number of uses. Just in the camping category you can pair it with a rechargeable power tool battery and remote power a camp light, a radio, or even a siren paired with a flood light if you're in a sketchy area. I often pair one with a Harbor Freight 24volt power tool battery and a Harbor Freight LED Flood light. Instant whole camp illumination from 200 feet up the trail. Awesome piece of electronics and that's a welcome change from the other Chinese junk the world's being filled with.

Works nicely Great distance
I use this switch in my RV as for a 12 volt pump that I want to turn on and off on the outside and it works great great idea just have to wire it up from the front door where the battery is to the component but it works great Very easy set up connecting of the wires is easy best I can say is if you want convenience and you need something that you can use as a switch to turn on a 12 volt pump or anything 12 volt from the outside it works great

Simple, well made remote switch
My first one I ordered was a dud. Did not work but got another one right away and it worked perfect. Simple. Easy to use. Just hook it up to 12 volts and the other end to whatever you're trying to run. Multiple applications for this. I am using it to power up a water pump. Highly recommend especially for the price. I personally have not tested the distance of how far you can go before it doesn't work.

Range is terrible
I've purchased this so I can install it in my kids big-wheels type of "ride on" toy car as a remote kill switch in case my kid was doing something stupid and needed for me to kill the motors from a short distance at the local park. As advertised, it claims to have a 328-foot range between the receiver and the remotes. That is FAR from accurate, as I was experiencing issues just 10 feet away, nevermind anything closer to the advertised range of 328 feet. Personally, I would have been happy with at least 80-100ft. This thing would also cut off randomly while degrading the performance of toy car as well. It's advertised to handle up to 72 volts with a load of 30 amps. Well, it had issues when powering two 24 volt motors (or two 12 volt motors after throwing it into a second model), both with a 40 volt, 5 amp battery connected to them. They obviously oversold it based on the specs advertised compared to what it can actually be used for. I know there could be interference when it comes to RF signals, although considering that most of the testing I've done with it was in the middle of a big open field, RF interference would be highly unlikely, if not impossible. So it's safe to rule that out.

Circuit Operation
This remote is working very well for a remote control of my battery powered Starlink Mini. It allows me to remotely turn it on and off from inside my trailer to help conserve battery power. There is a couple of things to be aware of. When the power output is off, the circuit will draw .010 amps @ 12.8 volts input. When the power output is on, the circuit will draw .080 amps @ 12.8 volts input. The power in, is NOT isolated from the output terminals. The negative in and negative out are permanently connected internally. The positive in is switched to the positive out. The input voltage is equal to the output switched voltage.
