is the button in the middle a lock unlock button? seems there are ways to program youself if someone will cut it. Thank you

There is no button on this key, is part of the holder design where the VW logo should be, what you need to program is the little (cylinder) chip inside called "transponder", with a specific electronic tool, I used to work with VCDS from Roos Tech, but you also need the 4 digits pin, to access the immobilizer module the one is part of, the instruments cluster (is a computer).
