Are they really safe in microwave? Mine got extremely hot!!

Yes they are safe, and yes they get hot, so do mine, my microwave is very powerful. Great bowls and I use them every day. Attractive and a great buy. Ok in dishwasher too. Hope this helps. All my bowls and plates get very hot in the microwave.

Will it fade? Is it safe for children?

Only had mine a 6 weeks - they look and feel good quality (better than I expected) .. We've used and washed them 3 or 4 times and not noticed any degrading of pattern etc. As far as i can tell they are as safe as any china bowl..don't know how old you child is but they would be too delicate/fragile for a toddler IMO

Yrs but they are small bowls not usual large cerial bowls

Have you ever received broken dinnerware?

I have had these beautiful bowls and they arrived well packed as extremely fragile
