The brushes are extremely soft and gentle to use. The handles of the Beauty Widgets Professional Luxury 8 Piece Makeup Brush Set are smooth with a fine wood texture finish, although I'm not sure they're wooden. The rose gold banding between the handle and bristles adds to the elegant look and gives the perfect finishing touch.

What a great set! I have received it to give to my daughter but now that I got it I love it so much I may actually keep it all to myself. I have had sets like this before and they were horrid. This set is a biiig difference compared what I have bought before. Despite the fact that this is not a name brand the quality is great, and it is a good variety of brushes in the set - perfect for makeup and eye shadow art. I have bought some of the brushes that are part of this set separately before and they cost the same for 1-2 as this whole set costs.
