If you want a quick component checker, then this is great. Don't expect accuracy, but if you want to check for a rough value then it is great. Good for checking transistor, diode and LED lead assignments. The infrared detector wasn't working for me. Not even sure if this is enabled on this version. Solid build, the interface connector is OK and is soldered to the circuit board, which is better than older devices where it just plugged and you got lose connections. The leads are a bit cheap, the idea another reviewer had of adding d banana sockets is a good idea and easy to do. The only down side is the lack of documentation. The IP address on the QR codes don't work. There is some helpful documentation on the amazon page, but is a bit small to read. I have so far managed to test LEDs, silicone transistors and capacitors. The KAA sockets are for testing zener diode, but have not tried this yet. Lack of documentation means I don't know what zener diodes it can test.

A simple to use device. Reviews are quite common on youtube so wont be performed here.

I love this gadget. Tests and measures any electronic component with a single button press. Great value. An updated version of one used by a colleague. Arrived in one day!

I bought this as an upgrade to the T7 tester I have had for a few years. Functionally, it is an improvement. It is probably a bit quicker to measure, it is supposedly more accurate, and it provides information not given on earlier models - for example it now gives the IDSS and VSG(off) for JFETs which is very useful. However, the Start button is a big step backwards as it is covered by the thick plastic of the top which makes it hard to press, and hard to know if you have pressed or not. If you are measuring a number of components, this is a major problem. The item I received must have been a return as the anti-static bag was crudely sealed with sellotape. In addition the screen was scratched, and the display was crooked inside. I returned the item.

No instructions, QR code gives a 404 error. No menu or test calibration. Very short test leads 10cm ...yes 10cm. Short USB charge lead 15cm! So any 123 for the test leads and KAA for testing LEDs. Does it work, and can you trust the readings? The jury is out, more to follow...
