HanesWomen's Firm Control Half Slip

I previously owned a pair of these in a size small and liked how much support it gave but it was too tight around the waist and tended to ride up on my thighs. I attributed this to having the wrong size.In hindsight I should have had the medium. This time I got the size large based on the reviews that I read. They fit well but do ride up a bit and tend to gather in the middle of my thighs. I am able to wear it for a short period of time before it starts to gather around the middle. I am also disappointed in that it does not have as much support as I hoped. Overall, not too pleased.

I purchased this to go under a plunge dress, it was great in length you can adjust it to where you need it. It had built in undies which I loved. However, it does run small. If you are looking for a shaper/slip this will work! I needed it to be discrete under the dress but the bottom is double seemed so it was pretty noticeable in my yellow floor length dress. Hope this is helpful!

This is a great slip BUT...the built in panties MUST be cut out. They totally defeat thepurpose of a slip that eliminates lumps, bumps and VPL's. The panty cuts in and createsa VERY visible bulge at the top of thighs. Cut them out close to the waistline of the slipand put on a pair of hanky pankys.I am 5'8-9" and got the medium...I bet all the sizes are similar they're so tight :)

Pros: built in panty so there are no panty lines, the material is not hot and sticky, it certainly does it's shaping job on the abdomen, hips, and upper thighs.Cons: muffin top creator. I bought a size larger than I usually wear, but maybe I needed 2 sizes larger. Also, the waistband rolls, adding to the muffin top problem. Who designed this? And for whom? Only anorexic models could possibly wear this.I sure hope that I figure out a way to stretch the waistband a good six inches. If the waistband weren't so small (and if it didn't roll), this half-slip would be great. If I can fix this, I will add stars to this review.

I purchased this slip for my wife.My review is based on her observations. The slip fits well and holds things in place.However, it will NOT stay in place - constantly riding up especially when sitting down. She was constantly tugging on it.Perhaps some rubber around the hem would help to keep it in place.

I will have to say that not only did this slip hold me in throughout the day, but it was super comfortable. The built-in panty was an added plus. I had read some of the reviews that stated that the slip would roll, but I didn't have that problem. As a matter of fact it smoothed out the little lumps and flattened my stomach so that I looked smoother in my clothes. I'm ordering another one in black and snagging the nude one...

This slip rides up it does not stay down. Too bad, it has built in underwear and could of been used with many dresses. In the drawer, maybe I can sew it down.

I bought this two sizes larger than I ordinarily wear as I don't like things too tight. It still barely fit, but it worked for what I needed.
