Great gift! The kids love it. Encourages them to spell, form short sentences, use correct punctuation...to think grammatically...and have fun! "Happy Birthday..(whoever)", "Miss you Dad", "Welcome Home Dad", etc. Everyone uses it too. "Chicken for Dinner". Fun! No set up required. Lots of letters. Comes with a charging cable. Lasts a good while but it looks fine without the light too. Decent quality and durable enough. Like anything if you take care of it.

Lots of letters and designs come with it
My granddaughter loved this. It has a lot of letters, designs and banners. The background light color can be changed by pressing the side button or using a remote control. I also takes batteries or plug into a USB. It felt very light and would break easily if it ever fell or even mildly stepped on. That is why I didn't do 5 stars. I'd buy again but wish it wasn't so flimsy.
