This all in one leather dye giver your leather a semi deep brown color. Beautiful! It is rather thick, and dries pretty fast, so when working with it, make sure you are working somewhat fast. Also, I noticed that heating the leather a bit before application makes it easier to apply and wipe off excess. After it dries, I recommend some type of wax finish/protection, even though this is supposed to an all in one dye. Without the wax finish, this dye does not have a pleasant feeling to it, the leather almost feels sticky in a way. After wax treatment, it will be stunning.

I had a two leather work belts with a little life left in them that needed re-staining (See before-after photo). I used the "Tandy Eco-Flo all-in-one stain & finish" in Acorn Brown with a soft cloth. Here are some tips: Find a place where entire belt can be layed out so you don't have to keep repositioning it. Wear an old shirt and put out some extra rags/paper-towels for those dumb unplanned events. Create a wire with both ends hooked so you can hang up the belt to dry at the end. If you are not wearing gloves then you will need soap and some Comet cleanser to clean your stained hands. I started out thinking I would do front side only, but then started doing the edges of the belt and got it on the belt back in spots, so I ended up finishing the sides, then back, and finally the front where you need to keep smoothing the streak marks left by the cloth and your finger prints. As you can see the stain worked great, and there is left over stain for at least 4-5 more belts. Just for fun I put some saddle soap on after drying for a day, but that probably was not needed at all & required drying all over again. Since I stained the edges and back of belt, I found stain from the back coming off on my jeans, so I had to wash the jeans with towels and no light colors for a couple of times, they came clean just fine. Very easy to use and the color came out beautifully on my leather gun sling and old gun holster.

The eco stain acorn brown is one my husband uses for his leather projects. We are able to find it at the leather store more economical but appreciate getting this one by mail.

Exactly what I needed.I have made a few wallets as part of a hobby and they look just the job from using Eco-Flo.Very happy with product.

Initially this seemed like a wonderful product, covered great, dried well but then I realized that if any liquids come into contact with it, it comes off just as easy as it went on, therefor causing it to transfer to a persons clothing if they happen to sit with a damp clothing item on.
