Nesti Dante Dolce Vivere Fine Natural Soap, Lago Di Como, 8.8 Ounce

My wife and I discovered this brand in the shop at Kew Gardens in London while on our honeymoon. We've been using it ever since, nearly 20 years now. The scent doesn't fade, it takes one right to the lavender fields of central Italy. The soap is emolient, rich and long-lasting. It isn't an economy product, but you definitely get your money's worth in luxury and a solid bar of soap that lasts.

I'm weaving small spa towels to give as gifts. A nice bar of soap will complete the ensemble. This seller went far & above in my order. They included a vial of perfume & a folder of sample perfumes!!!!! Wow!!!! After buying different soaps, this one won as my favorite selection. I based it on scent, ingredients, lather, appearance, price & longevity. I'm happy to say this soap is very luxurious & I know my friends & family will also love to receive one as a special gift!

Made with natural ingredients, lathers quickly, leaves no residue, leaves skin soft. Has a masculine smell.

Smells like real lavender. Not sweetened with any other ingredients.

Good quality. Lathers well, lasts long, good skin feel. The cypress scent is amazing and it lasts through the entire life of the bar. A little pricey but fair considering the bar size and quality.

This soap has a nice light tangerine scent and lathers well. That said, I wouldn’t describe it as moisturizing, though it doesn’t dry my skin like Dove. Get it if you can find it at five dollars or under however it’s frequently selling for more. I don’t think it’s very good value priced over five dollars per bar.

Great soap

Love this soap! It lathers great with my loofah in the tub and has a wonderful lemony type scent. The fragrance lingers in the bathroom for some time. I've ordered a few more. It lasts pretty long as I wet my loofah and rub it across the bar. Lots of bar soaps dissolve in a week. But I don't let it sit in the bath tub while I bathe. It feels luxurious!

I've been using Nesta Dante soap since 2020 and I wouldn't use any other brand now for showering or hand washing. They appear expensive but they are very good quality, the bars are huge, (I cut mine in half for ease of handling) and they and the scent last down to the last sliver. The Olive and Tangerine is my favourite for handwashing. It's not as scented as most of the others but it leaves my (previously dry) hands soft and moisturised. Half a bar lasts me at least 4 months. If you haven't tried Nesti Dante soap bars, I really do recommend them.

The first thing you will notice when you open your parcel is how beautiful the wrapping on the soap is. The paper used is thick quality paper which has a lovely design on it. You will already be able to smell the beautiful perfume of the soap. The wrapper holds it shape so if you carefully undo one end and slide out the soap you can refold the end and display the empty soap packaging on your bathroom shelf. It's too pretty to throw away the wrapper. The soap is very large please see my photo I am aware that some people cut theirs in half but I like to keep mine whole. I actually purchased a second soap which smells wonderful too. I put that one straight into my underwear drawer. Which will give my underwear a lovely fragrance. As you can see in my photo this soap gives a lovely creamy lather. Even in our hard water area. It will leave your skin delicately fragranced. I've gone back to soap bars both in my shower and bath to reduce my use of plastics. I highly recommend these soaps they are brilliant quality they lather well and last a very long time.
