One of the most beautiful watercolors. Vibrant and smooth. Good for botanicals, portraits and illustrations. comes with a nice pallette. I got it when the price was around 9 k. The price drop breaks my heart..! 🙂

Ich arbeite schon länger mit Aquarellfarben. Was mich immer ein wenig gestört hat, ist, dass die meisten Farben nach dem Trocknen nicht mehr so farbkräftig sind, wie wenn sie noch nass sind. Sie trocknen einfach dunkler. Auch in der Preisklasse professionellerer Farben wie Winsor & Newton Professional. Dann bin ich auf diese Farben gestoßen. Wenn man bedenkt, dass man für ein 1,5ml Näpfchen von Schmincke oder Winsor & Newton bereits mit 6-7€ rechnen kann und hier 36x7ml für gerade mal das Zehnfache des Preises bekommt, merkt man, wie billig diese Farben für professionelle Aquarellfarben eigentlich sind! Auch wenn der Preis dennoch nicht gerade niedrig ist und anfangs abschreckt. Aber die Farben sind jeden Cent wert! Lichtechtheit, Transparenz, Farbbrillianz, Farbauswahl.. Bei diesen Farben ist alles perfekt für meine Ansprüche! Die Farben halten unglaublich lange. Man muss nur mit einem leicht feuchten Pinsel sanft die getrocknete Farbe auf der Palette berühren, um sie "aufzuwecken" und anzulösen. Auf dem Papier funktioniert das allerdings genauso gut. Für mich absolut kein Problem - man sollte es aber vor dem Kauf wissen. Wer Farben will, die nicht leicht anlösbar sind, sollte eher über den Kauf von flüssigen Aquarellfarben nachdenken. Für mich sind die Mijello Farben in jedem Fall meine 1. Wahl. Noch nie habe ich gesehen, dass Aquarellfarben nach dem Trocknen eine so schöne Farbbrillianz aufweisen. Es macht Freude, damit zu malen! Und durch die hohe Pigmentierung und leichte Anlösbarkeit halten die Farben auch sehr lange. Nächstes Mal hole ich mir das große Set mit 34x15ml Tuben!! Ich kann garnicht genug von dieser Marke schwärmen. Die angehängten Bilder sind nicht bearbeitet, lediglich der automatische Weißabgleich meiner Handykamera lässt manche Bilder etwas gelblich aussehen. Aber auch auf diesen Bildern wird die Farbbrillianz sichtbar. Ich liebe diese Farben einfach. Klare Kaufempfehlung!!

Los colores que maneja Mijello están geniales, algunos me encantaron en comparación con otras marcas como Holbein. A lo mejor es cosa de gustos. Las volvería a comprar.

Magnifique produit , il n’y a quasiment besoin de rien pour peindre les couleurs sont bien pigmentées. Un pur régale. Je recommande fortement, cela vaut l’investissement.

I bought this over 5 years ago now (closer to 6) and it was my first actual artist grade watercolor set. They have held up great and honestly they might preform even better now than when I got them. I haven’t used them all up yet because a little truly goes a lot way but I’m definitely going to be a little sad when I have to restock lol. They’re VERY pigmented and vibrant which I have come to love. You can water them down, sure, but I love how opaque they can be. Not gouache opaque but opaque for watercolors. I didn’t know what I was doing at first but I fell in love with just playing around with paint on the paper doing abstracts. You can get some amazing effects because of the paint quality and characteristics. They also mix REALLY well together. The only drawback for me personally is how big the container is. It makes it awkward to work with on my desk with everything else out. It has lots of mixing space if that’s important for you but I don’t think I’ve ever even used the lid portion to mix. I have recently put them in a more traditional palette which is smaller (but holds more paint) and sturdier metal and it works a lot better for me. I’d love if they offered these exact colors without the palette for that reason and for when I have to buy more in the future. Anyways, you get an amazing range of colors of high quality paints for a reasonable price (for professional watercolors). I love this brand and how the paints preform. They’re highly pigmented, able to be used in a wide variety of techniques, and easily mixable. They’ve also lasted me a very long time without losing quality - I also still have a little left in the tubes because they last so long. The tubes are small compared to most average tube sets or individual tubes though - that’s mainly so they can fit more colors without upping the price. I definitely recommend getting a separate palette to hold the paints though just to save space (I have one that holds 48 half pans and is still significantly smaller than the plastic one I originally got). 10/10 recommend especially if you’re just getting into artist grade watercolors.
