my dremel tool is used mostly for hobby projects, building and repairing RC airplanes, helicopters and race cars. I've had this new NIMH battery for only about two months. So far its noticeably stronger than original ni-cad battery, and seems to last longer between charges. I've used it on about 4-5 occasions, one of those for about nearly 5 minutes of continuous run time, and it still doesn't need to be charged yet. I can't speak to long term reliability, but the original battery lasted 2 or 3 years, and I'll bet this lasts longer than that.

Works great with my dremel brand tool

this battery doesn't stay in a dremel that is on the list of models it is supposed to. The tabs do not line up with the holes and will only power if you hold it in all the way and try to use it. I had to wrap electrically tape around it as tight as possible to hold it in for a few minutes of use. Do not buy to use in a dremel 7700!
