These are excellent! I needed something to ice my hand after having surgery recently, and nothing else seemed to provide me with the freedom to move around while it was being iced. I was not expecting them to be such high quality. They are extremely well made, and they fold up very compactly to keep in my freezer. The way that they are made allows me to keep it securely attached with the thumb hole and wraps around my hand very comfortably & it also fits my husbands wrist which is much larger than mine. I will buy again. A great value!

Brace works perfectly for post-sports icing!
This wrist strap works great! The fit is perfect, and there is just the right amount of insulation between the strap and the ice pack - maximum cooling of inflamed areas without any burning of the skin. It's easy to use, and I find it to be comfortable to wear when I am icing down. The price was terrific - I can't recommend this highly enough.

Does its job, great price, but could be a bit better
Tried it on both wrists & it does its job. The problem is the gel pack is a bit inflexible, & I had to wrap it around pretty tight in order to get maximum contact w/ my stocky 7" wrists. Before this I had a clay-based hot/cold pack from the big box W place, which was very nice due to how flexible it was & how easy it was to get maximum contact on my wrists, but it ended up leaking clay in my freezer only after a few uses. This gel pack stays cooler longer than the clay-based one, so that's a plus. Getting the gel pack into the support brace is a bit of work, but once it's in, it's in. It's very easy to take the gel pack back out, fold it up, & throw it back into the freezer.Overall, it's well-made, no smell from either the gel pack or support brace, the gel pack stays cold for 20+ minutes, the gel pack can stay folded in my freezer, taking up very little room, & the price is right. It could be a bit better by being a bit more flexible when it's cold.As it is now, I'd still recommend it to others looking for a good wrist hot/cold support brace.

Easy to use and VERY effective IMHO
Takes a little work wrapping the sleeve around the wrist/hand to get to fit properly with the HOT/COLD pack inserted. Little better drawing as guide might be nice. This is NO BIG DEAL. It is just a bit tricky to get it to seat firmly. My Bride has larger bones that I have; I am an ultra slim build, small wrist bones and medium, but fine boned hands. Worked with putting wrap on and off 3-4 times and figured out how to get the best comfortable fit. I have used my hands significantly hand tools, power tools, axes, jack planes, hand saws, chisels in woodworking, construction, chainsaws (forestry) and Aerospace industry and on. Have managed NOT to damage my hands in all these years, but I strained/partially tore a ligament in right hand that now requires regular HOT/COLD & anti-inflammatory therapy past 7 years and I am now 67.This is best wrap ever. Thanks, 02birdog out.

Very well made! Great for cold application.
This thing is terrific! Very well made, it just feels good to wear. Naturally, the gel pack makes it a little thick, so I only use it when I'm relaxing or sleeping. I have a simpler, thinner one I use when I'm busy. Freeze the pack and wrap it tight and you will feel the cold! One thing to note: The gel pack has a "dead zone" in the center where the pack bends. If you look closely at the photo you may be able to make out that the gel pack has two separate cells. I guess this is to make it more flexible, and it does. But It also means there is a spot where there is no heat/cold coverage.I am using it as a cold pack for De Quervain's, so I have a very specific spot on the side of my wrist that I'm trying to address. Just my luck, if I put my thumb through the hole and wrap the support around my wrist the "dead zone" is right where I need the help. Even if I wrap it the opposite direction, same problem. My wife suggested I put my pinky through the hole instead of my thumb and that works!Give this thing a try. I think you'll like it!

Comfortable but does not stay cold long enough
I bought this because I’ve been having pretty severe pain in my wrist over the last couple months. It’s easy to use the material is soft and feels sturdy and well put together. I like that it easily wraps around the wrist and that the ice pack fits into an inner pocket. The reason I only gave it three stars because the ice pack coldness does not last long enough in my opinion.Usually you want the ice to say nice and cold in the area for 20 minutes and I would say that this cools down and stops being really effective in about half that time. The other thing that caused me to give it a lower rating was even though it wraps around the wrist I noticed that the pressure points where the ice touches is very uneven. I have tried wrapping it tighter so that the pack would be more snug around the skin and it hits a couple areas really well while leaving other areas feeling as if there was no ice on them. I do have small wrist so that may play a part in it or it could be the fact that the ice pack doesn’t stay nice and cold long enough.I would buy it again in the future because it’s easier to use than some of the other ice packs but it would be great if they would change the ice pack material to be a longer lasting ice pack and make the ice pack wrap evenly around the rest of little bit better so that it fully encompasses the rest with the ice not just a couple parts.

The best
I write a lot of reviews and I'm to honest at times. That they don't get posted but let me try again and be more nice. I like this brace so much reason why. I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and the most important thing is being able to apply cold in my wrist. I know I can just get a tissue and put ice on it and done but with this brace it saves you the mess or melting ice and the struggle to be able to use your hand cause you have ice on it. I tried it out for the past week and I can clearly and honestly say it's the best brace I have spent my money on works and does what it's meant to do. I would recommend to all my friends who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome also
