An excellent piece of machinery, arrived two days early, performs very well only draw back is altering from surface planing to thicknessing fitting the extractor and locating with the micro switches. However I would recommend this planer, excellent value and a UK dealership to answer any questions and get spare parts.

Powerful enough. Very sturdy and does the job without problems. Nice product.

This is a surprisingly well made tool considering the price. I am very pleased with the finish it puts on the timber. The measurement guide is just that a guide not very precise, but who cares. It's quite heavy so moving it around a lot could be a problem. It's noisy and dusty, but what the hell do you expect. Chip extraction is ok does tend to clog on deeper cuts. To sum up great value for a small workshop. I will use it a lot.

Planer came with blunt blades no one care to send replacement blades as only done one test and I can tell you it is rubbish and costumer service even worst. I wouldn’t care but pay for replacement blades £60 as I just bought it I don’t see fear play 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I was happy to spend the extra money on this machine as I've purchased Scheppach products in the past and found they are really good quality compared to the cheaper options. This machine is indeed solidly built but I discovered that the in-feed and out-feed tables are not co-planar and there is no means to adjust. I contacted the supplier with images of the machine and they arranged a replacement the next day and even collected the defective one a few days later. I inspected the replacement machine and discovered that it had the exact same defect. I contacted the supplier once again and they contacted the manufacturer for advice. It was determined that there was a manufacturing fault and that it appeared they had a defective batch. I returned the machine for a full refund and ended up purchasing the cheaper option from another brand as I really needed a surface planar to complete a project on time. I can't fault the supplier as they were absolutely brilliant and made the process of returning both items an absolute breeze. This won't prevent me from buying the Scheppach brand again as I understand these things happened and I'm familiar with Scheppach quality. I believe this really was just an unfortunate situation. I still recommend Scheppach but advise customers to check this product upon delivery in case there are still machines out there with the same defect. For this reason I am only able to give it 3 Stars.

Fantastic power only fault I can find is thence dos not slide so if you need to square a edge you have to lean over the cutter even with guard life is difficult. Apart from that great

They were very polite and replaced the device. I reduced one star because it could have been a better device.

The machine was delivered one week sooner than expected, and the set up right out of the box was pretty square. My only complaint is why do they put a plastic lattice type restriction inside the dust collection box where is expands to 100mm. All this does is trap all the shavings when thicknessing and stops them getting to my dust extractor. I wish someone could tell me what this is for, and can it be removed.

Pour un usage amateur et bricoleur fait très bien son job. Suffisamment précise pour les réglages. J'en suis très satisfait. Ne convient pas pour un usage intensif et professionnel.

Nonostante l'oggetto è concepito per uso hobbistico risulta solido e di ottima fattura, unica pecca, un po macchinosa per passare da pialla a filo a quella spessore. Il prezzo risulta abbastanza onesto in rapporto alla qualità, cosa che non si ritrova in marchi più blasonati.

Resulta que lod gastos de devolución corren a cargo del cliente, incluso a pesar de que la máquina no tiene la calidad que se especifica. Mas de 100€ de gastos de devolución. No recomiendo que se compre si no se esta seguro de que es lo que se quiere... Como haya que devolver el producto estas perdido.
