They don't pull the hair and very soft. The reason for four stars because when using it more that few times, some white strings starts coming out, so I have to throw it and use a new one.

These are the best out there. Have a tried a lot of other brands that don’t stretch as well and aren’t as thick as these. If your kiddos have thick or thin hair (I have one of each), they’ll work great. Good value and great selection of colors. Love em!
