One of Swanson's best products, if not THE best --because of the reduced salt aspect
this is a staple at our house. stop using high volume sodium broth and use this instead. it tastes exactly the same, and is way better for you. has a thousand and one uses, if you're a good cook. and if you're a bad cook, this will help you.

The Best Canned Broth
Swanson chicken broth is in my opinion the best quality on the market for the price. I prefer the low sodium version so that I can control the salt when cooking. It has a very good chicken flavor, fresh and flavorful. My only problem is with the Amazon packers, who often pack so poorly that the cans arrive dented.

Use it all the time and have for years. Great for chicken, pork, chicken and noodles, chicket stir fry and it goes on and on.

What is With the Dented Cans????
I'm not sure why many of us are receiving dented cans. I bought 5 cans of this chicken broth and 4 were dented. Did the whole huge shipment get in an accident? The price isn't even all that great, except it was the one thing I forgot at the grocery store, so simply added it with some other items already in my Amazon cart. The broth seems fine - normal taste, normal color - so I'm not so much concerned about that, but many people won't eat products in dented cans. So, Amazon you might want to research what is going on here, as some of the "dented" complaints go back to early 2024! Maybe they need to be stored differently, or unpacked differently, or even shipped differently. Just a thought!

Artificial dangerous ingredient undisclosed
Not sure what the “natural flavor and yeast extract” is. They could be made from soy, anything disgusting and artificial. This is a sketchy company due to their sketchy use of ingredients. Soup tastes watered down and very salty. Says low sodium but the 2nd ingredient states salt. Thats false advertisement. Read your labels!
