The Art Of Dying

a must to change and live a better life and be ready for it to mute into ...
I cannot think of a book that had a more profound impact on my life, even more profound than "The Art of Living" (William Hart) book which must have prompted this one....a must to change and live a better life and be ready for it to mute into something else called death, just another part of life, nothing more, nothing less. Learn also how to help others go through this passage. Read it and understand what it is you have to experiment with to remove all fears and anxieties about the most misunderstood part of life...but be warned, you will never be afraid of death ever again...and by the way, God and religion play no part in it whatsoever, isn't that wonderful?

Thank You Guruji🙏🙏🙏 Utmost Gratitude
Teachings of Shri Satya Narayan Goenkaji made all my extremely difficult challenges simple to face. Indebted forever to my Gurudev. I loved Satya Narayan (Vishnu) since childhood and found a true Satya Narayan who teaches how to live a life of Satya. I purchased this book for my mom. If you have lived a life of Dharma then you dont need books to teach you how to die. And if you have not lived a life of Dharma no book can teach you how to die. Learnt this from our Guruji. But I'll still purchase one more for myself, coz my Guruji's every word is very valuable and unmissable. Thank you Guruji. 🙏🙏🙏🧘🌹

Great way to understand dead from a non-secular Buddhist perspective
Great book for everyone, specially if you are facing dead yourself or within your close circle.Goenka's meditation courses are the best way to understand the pure teachings of the Buda. I recommend this book and the courses

I recommend this book!
I have sat two 10-day courses. I took my first 10-day Vipassana course (as taught by S. N. Goenka) in March - April 2013. I have found many benefits from this practice. During the nightly discourses Mr. Goenka had mentioned that practitioners of this tradition face death with equanimity - observing sensation. I was intrigued by this statement. How does a practitioner view their impending death? This book answers that question. The book is comprised of quotes from Buddhist Texts, Goenka's couplets/poems, and letters written by people facing their own demise from illness and the observations from their friends/family at the time of death. The book is not meant to teach the technique. The book shows how Vipassana Meditators can live with happiness, die peacefully, and prepare for the next life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has taken a Vipassana course or has an interest in Vipassana Mediation.

Full of inspirational narratives about the death experiences of Vipassana meditators and guidance by Shri S N Goenka about Buddha’s teachings on death and dying. This book is a gem that should be part of every meditator’s library.
