Q: does this one have the o-ring seal?

The lid has a groove to install your own seal, I did that and use these cases all the time (canoeing, camping, etc) and they stay sealed and dry.

Q: The interior dimensions listed don't seem right--you lose almost a full 10 inches in length??

Capacity: 108 quarts. Exterior Dimensions: 37.75" X 18.25" X 14". Interior Dimensions: 34.75" X 16" X 13.5".

Q: How many locks does it take to fully secure the lid?

I have recently purchased and would suggest 2 total, one for each side. However, there are 4 lock-down latches, so you could use a total of 4...might depend on how secure you are needing this to be. I simply needed to keep coons out and the latches are working without adding any padlocks.

Q: Would these be good to use for shipping materials to conference shows?

yes depending on how heavy the material. We use it to take things to our cabin. My wife handles it with ease.
