The Book of the Tree: Trees in Art

Great for inspiration, especially if you love trees and art. So interesting to read some background on the artists portrayed here. Very pleased with my purchase.

Very nice little book with a good selection of images from different artists. Would be nice in larger format perhaps.

Bought this for use in art ideas and so pleased with it

A broad selection of paintings, old and modern, with a succinct account of each artist. As a tree enthusiast (not an artist) I loved seeing so many images in one compact book and gaining an insight into how others see trees. It's a non-technical book. There's very little info about trees, which is fine - it's a book of paintings of trees. I reminded myself of this when I read a couple of inaccurate comments relating to pollarding and willows! I wouldn't hesitate to give this as a gift or to recommend it as a gift to oneself. It's a lovely little book.

Someone on YouTube was showing this book off and I knew I had to have it. I'm excited to know it is a book series. I look forward to collecting the others.

This is the loveliest book. I saw it being referenced by a YouTube artist & ordered it straight away. It’s nicer than expected, is written beautifully & the artwork is exactly the inspiration I needed. Highly recommend this book, it’s beautiful.

Beauty of the art as well as the photography. I sit and gaze a bit every day as well as am grateful for trees all around me.

Anyone who loves trees should own this book.
