It works perfectly fine

This was a misleading product. It does not take full size slices of bread! only the half size; so it is difficult to make a toasted sandwich with it and in addition it doesn’t like the bread to be thick so you have to restrict what things you put in.

The catch closing it feels flimsy, not sure how long that will last. It only takes small slices of bread (but that is common in sandwich makers, and I only use small loaves anyway). The red light comes on when you turn it on, but that's it (at least in mine). I assumed when it was ready the green light would come on, but I have yet to see the green light lit up! Not helped by bad Chinese translation in the instructions! So I turn it on, wait for a few minutes until I assume it's hot enough, then make my sandwiches. And I have to say they have been fine. The bread has sealed edges, and the cheese with onion/tomato, whatever has been melted and delicious. A big bonus is that there is a 'wedge' to wind the cord round and then you can stand it vertically so it takes up very little space in the cupboard. Also very easy to clean. So for the price a good buy.

Product is smaller than expect and can't take a full sized slice of bread, now switched to buying smaller loaves

When I tell you this purchase was definitely worth it! Easy to remove the plates and clean, it’s durable as well.

Make sure you unplugged it after using it!!!!!! It has no switch button on it and yesterday being very tired I completely forgot to unplug it. Luckily nothing happened but could have. Don’t find it too safe to use it. Otherwise it’d be a lovely gadget and very quick to make a lovely toasted sandwich.
